oliva v maddy 09's?
 

Anyone have one yet? If so what'd ya think about it? How was last years? Not a fan of maddy's but for some reason this one is giving me a warm fuzzy feeling..

I haven't gotten any this year yet but last years were ace. Well anything from Oliva is great!

This years release has been getting great feedback thus far. The 09 release is a 6x54 Torp, the same size as the regular V Torpedo so it's definitely different than last years.

Tried one OTT when the shop got the Oliva shipment a few weeks back, not a bad stick but not as good as the previous years release I had ~2-3 weeks prior. Unlike the first release this years wasnt nearly as ammonia filled.

I thought the new stick was extremely good....might just be the batch my shop got... I smoked an 08 last night and I liked the 09 better

I got a box from fellow CA member/vendor leafandale in TN. Only had them about a week but I'm probably going to smoke one tonight so I can figure out if I want anymore boxes before they start getting thin.

Never tried any of the 08's, so I won't be able to compare the two, but will come back in and let you know what I thought.

i got a box of them earlier in the week. these tend to be special occasion sticks for me. but as soon as i have one i will put my input in.

I hope so. I couldn't stand last years even a year later. I had one about a week ago and tossed it about an inch in.

I would have to agree with this. I love Strong cigars and can tolerate most anything but i did not enjoy the Oliva 08 maddies at all....Good news for others as I have been bombing them to others :)
