I could not even wait to get the pictures taken before getting them both on the go http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/g.../ibrik002e.jpg The aluminum is a little too big for just myself, so it will be a company pot. The stainless is all mine baby ;) |

Just be careful now, that Turkish coffee has some kick to it!
|
Re: Look what my brother brought me :)
Excuse my ignorance but exactly what the hell is it?
|
Re: Look what my brother brought me :)
i asked if it was Greek because I thought your last name was Kananaskis, but then after looking closer I noticed it's not....
Turkish coffe is enjoyed by Turkish people and many people in Europe...it's like an espresso |

I think this a greek coffee style. Isn't it?

Re: Look what my brother brought me :)
You are a wise man, making turkish - nice foam! You experienced with it or is this your first try? I got hooked on turkish coffee a year or so back thanks to a brother cigar smoker/coffee lover and find myself making a cup after dinner almost every evening. Nice stuff - very nice stuff.
It's all the same coffee by many names - turkish, greek, arabic... See more discussion at http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showth...hlight=turkish |
Re: Look what my brother brought me :)
I have tried it before, thanks to your first thread ;)
I just finally got around to trying some of the proper equipment, instead of just a pot (which works, do not get me wrong, these just work better). |
