Any Gaggia MD grinder owners?
 

I'm wondering if any owners of the MDF do any maintainance themselves?

I've had mine about a year and it works fine, but am wondering if opening it up and cleaning it is a good idea?

I have the exploded parts diagram and it doesn't look too bad.
