need quick ways to make money
 

Long story short, had someone write me a bad check, which has now put me in a bad way. Need to come up with the rent and I need to come up with some cash fast and wondering if anyone had some Ideas.

Ive already put the stuff I could sell up, Im selling 90 percent of my smokes(save the ones that were gifted)

does anyone know of a quick way to get some money?

Sell stuff on ebay with a low Buy It Now price ....especially fishing stuff.

Ask for part time cleaning work at a mechanics shop or doing grunt work for plumbers, construction, or neighbors....

Pawn shop for quick cash. Once you can come up with the money go back and pay them back, plus a little interest, and get your stuff back.

agree with pawn-shop idea; but be careful--I tend to come out buying things instead.

If you have a lawn-mower, cutting the neighbors' grass is always something to try--ask those that cut their own grass, as others who have others do it for them already tend to be loyal to those already.

Whatever you do make the person make good on the check. I ran thru a spell a couple of years ago right before I stopped taking checks where I got a rash of cold ones. One thing that always got them here quick fast and in a hurry was to turn it over to the county attorney or the equivalent in your area. Once they get served the papers it is amazing how fast they will come up with the money. As a bonus if they can’t and the check is over $300 here you can get 1-3 years for theft by deception and it hard for them to write another cold check from jail.

Do you know how much paper work is involved in doing that? I've actually looked into it.
