Amazing... And the fact that it didn't suffer that much damage in the rollover, makes one think it may have been structurally sound to begin with?

I'm not exactly a genius, but what do people think will happen when you start putting a big hole in the bottom of a building? If they don't blow them up don't they usually tear them down starting at the top?

That is what happens when they don't use cascade charges....
Kick the feet out from under a building and it may not crumble, set up proper cascade charges and all you have it a pile of rubble....:r

I agree with spending the extra cash. As a kid I was friendly with a guy whose dad hired a constractor to demonlish a 10 foot wall on his property. The contractor decided to charge big bucks and dragged some poor guy of the street to knock down the wall. HE handed the guy sledge hammers, told him to knock down the wall and went on his way. This dude had no idea and started at the bottom! When enough had been removed the wall fell ontop of him and killed him! Needless to say the contractor ended up in very hot water.

This is impressive though. The building stays together. I guess it is true when they say they dont built em like they used to.

Hell - that's some skill right there. LOL. Kudo's on the construction of it though to be able to withstand that roll.

I thought it seemed odd that there weren't sequenced charges at the higher levels (the cascade charges). Especially since this was clearly a reinforced concrete building...and in demolition, old concrete and rebar are not your friends.
