Habana or Havana
I am 18 and I've never understood the difference between "havana" and "habana". Why does some of my non-cubans say "havana" on the rapper and my cubans say "habana"? What is the difference?

Re: Habana or Havana

Most non-cubans are from cuban seed and they want to capitalize on the word Havana (english) because everybody knows the mystique of cuban cigars, novice or not. Cubans have "havana" (spanish) because that is what they are, I guess. |
Re: Habana or Havana
but the non cubans are not from cuba. so why is it in english?

to put it a different way but repeat what everyone else has said... in italian...roma in canadian...rome in spanish...habana in canadian...havana you really dont need to stress over it...just accept that other languages spell things different than we do. derrek :hm |
Re: Habana or Havana
I have a lot of non Cuban cigars. A lot of those non Cuban cigars have "Havana" written on the wrapper. I'm not sure why they have the word "Havana" written there. These cigars were not made in Cuba and I don't know of another city called Habana or Havana; other than Havana, Cuba. Why are non Cuban cigars released with the word "Havana" on the wrapper?
Thank you in advance for all of your help. |

The tobacco that is used is grown from cuban seed and they want to capitalize on the word Havana (english) because everybody knows the mystique of cuban cigars, novice or not.
