Thinking about brewing loose tea.
I tend to drink a lot of iced teas. I used to drink a lot of Arizona ginseng and now I enjoy the Honest aid Green teas.
Are any of you guys brewing anything like this? I enjoy packaged teas when its cold so I pretty much enjoy it all year round. |
Re: Thinking about brewing loose tea.
Borris I drink loose tea about 8 glasses a day, some hot some iced. I really think its the way to go. I use almost exclusively www.adagio.com their ingenuiTea system for brewing is fantastic, and their teas are exception and affordable. PM me any questions you have about loose tea!

Re: Thinking about brewing loose tea.
I still would need a tea press with that electric thing right?
|
Re: Thinking about brewing loose tea.
you would need some sort of filter, like the IngenuiTEA, i promse if you get one of the starter packs with the filter, you really should do it.

Re: Thinking about brewing loose tea.
OK, so those IngenuiTEA's have a place for loose tea? If it does I couldn't figure out where it goes.

Re: Thinking about brewing loose tea.
Hahah the ingenuiTEA is only for loose tea, it basically is a filter with a drain in the bottom, so you put the tea in, then the hot water, and let it steep, and then drain.

Re: Thinking about brewing loose tea.
I just use a stovetop tea pot and cloth strainer. works just fine for me. I am looking into different strainer methods though cause it cost $5.00 for a box of 100 and I drink alot of tea.
