Nicaragua Vs. Dominican...

As I continue smoking, I find that my taste preferences have been moving away from Dominicans and towards Nicaraguan cigars. It's probably a personal preference thing, but I'm curious as to which way you guys lean.

I'm split evenly between Nic and Hondurans. I'm one of the few Camacho lovers out there.

There are examples of both that I enjoy very much.

Nic - Padrons, Avalon Red Label Jukes, Pepins
Dom - LFDs, Kelner blends.

I love Nicaraguan tobacco as well, whether it be in the filler, binder, wrapper or puros of course... with that said, I love full bodied Dominican puros as well.

My favorite NCs are made by Fuente (Dominican), but I like the Pepin lines very much. The Padrons make some great cigars too, so it really makes for a difficult choice for me amongst the two.

You need to come hang out with the BABOTL's, you'll feel right at home. A couple of us are Camacho whores.

I still enjoy a fine Dominican though.

Nicaragua for me, too, then Honduras. But like so many others, I definitely enjoy my Fuentes and Auroras and other full flavored Dominicans.

I might get burned for this, but even if I had to choose between Nicaraguan cigars and Cubans, I would go for the Nicaraguans. Don't get me wrong, I still smoke (and enjoy) Cubans, Dominicans, Costa Ricans and Honduran cigars too but Nicaragua is my favorite cigar country.

I have a few favorites from the Dominican (Partagas, La Aurora, La Flor, Fuente) but it's definitely a landslide victory for Nicaragua without a doubt.

Re: Nicaragua Vs. Dominican...

I'd say probably about 95% of the NCs I smoke are Nicaraguan. I actually had a Dominican yesterday(LGC Reserve Fig) and enjoyed it quite a bit, just not as much as I enjoy a good Nicaraguan.

Re: Nicaragua Vs. Dominican...

I am probably 90% Nicaraguan lately, with the other 10% being Fuentes. Preferring the stronger, spicier stuff I guess.
