Tampa Sweetheart No. 4 Maduro
A few weeks ago a fellow BOTL gifted me a couple of Tampa Sweetheart No. 4s. I was pretty impressed with them and as a result of others saying the maduros were very good, convinced me to pull the trigger on a bundle of the No. 4 maduros.
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...etheart002.jpg Inspecting this smoke found few problems with it. Lighting it produced a nice smooth chocolate flavor. http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...etheart003.jpg Burn was pretty even throughout and no corrections were needed. By the way this is my fourth one out of the bundle and I have had no real burn issues with any of them. http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...etheart006.jpg Flavors remained consistent throughout. A pleasant, smooth smoke with an occasional hint of cocoa. http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...etheart008.jpg Towards the end a hint of spice was noted. http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...etheart009.jpg I ended nubbing it soon after this pic. As you can see this no dog rocket, quite the contrary. I found this to be an excellent smoke and considering it to be a bundle cigar I must say one of the best values out there. Definitely a 9.5 out of 10. |
Re: Tampa Sweetheart No. 4 Maduro
I just made a bundle of these my last Pre-SCHIP Tax bundle. Never had one but always been curious. Everyone seems to say they are a great bargain. At that price if I don't like em, no big loss.
