cigars intl accepts electronic payments?
Why can't we say the word ****** on the forum then?

Re: cigars intl accepts electronic payments?
Because poopal will cancel your account for tobacco transactions.

If you are making a payment using PP, and the person receiving the payment is CIGARS International, wouldn't PP cancel your membership. It doesn't get any more obvious that you're buying tobacco products than buying from a company with tobacco in their name. That being said if PP is serious about their policy thenm they would cancel every membership that buys from CI. I would assume a company as large as CI wouldn't put there customers at risk for this. Does anyone know if PP's policies have changed? |
Re: cigars intl accepts electronic payments?
I don't have any answers here, I am just glad to finally know why pp was always disguised on here and not spelled out correctly.

Re: cigars intl accepts electronic payments?
I order with P@@P@@ through CI.
It's funny because CI messed up my transaction it was so new to them. Then I had to contact P@@P@@ to get them to make sure my payment went though. I was reluctant, but the lady helped me out, and not one red flag went up. I was kind of wondering the same thing as the OP. I still don't mention cigars on P@@P@@, but I have several transactions that have cigarinternational's name on it. |
Re: cigars intl accepts electronic payments?
I saw that last night for the first time :hm
I just checked poopoo's site and here is the official answer to the question when I typed it into the help section: Question : What types of tobacco products does ****** prohibit? Answer : ****** generally prohibits transactions for all types of tobacco products, including cigarettes, cigars, and smokeless tobacco due to legal requirements and industry regulations for online tobacco sales. So I don't know    Chas ****** replaced the actual service name. I copied and pasted it exactly as it was on their site. |
Re: cigars intl accepts electronic payments?
I guess the loophole is to say that you were just ordering non-tobacco products. Such as ashtrays and accessories.

Re: cigars intl accepts electronic payments?
I was under the impression that as long as the business was following all the regulations that PP was okay with it. It can't be sure that individuals are following the regs or checking birth dates.

Re: cigars intl accepts electronic payments?
My thoughts are CI just uses PP for its credit card processing agent and is not held to the same rules as person to person sales

Re: cigars intl accepts electronic payments?
I paid with my account balance on p@@pal. The CS lady at P@@pal looked through my payment to them to confirm they actually had my money. I am sure she was well trained, but Cigarinternational.com didn't send anyone a red flag at p@@pal and I am still using my account.
I have been a member since 2005, and when CI had a p@@pal logo, I asked myself the same question. Everything worked out though. |
Re: cigars intl accepts electronic payments?
It's about time PooPail came around on this. They are missing out on A LOT of money.
Maybe they finally wised up. |
Re: cigars intl accepts electronic payments?
I've never understood why they ban tobacco transactions.. Seems like there is a lot of money to be had by them that way...

Re: cigars intl accepts electronic payments?
Sorry, I never realized they were doing transactions for CI. As money hungry as ebay is for money, you'd think they wouldn't care what you were buying.
We can probably thank our lawsuit happy society for this though. If 16 year old little Johnny bought cigars online because he used poopal, there are parents out there that would name poopal in the suit I'm sure. |
