Kentucky Cigar Shops?

My wife and I are flying down to Louisville to visit my brother-in-law who is finishing up with basic training at Fort Knox. I am looking to find out if there are any cigar shops in the area that I need to stop at. We are staying in Louisville but I would be willing to travel a little ways for a good shop.

Thanks

I don't think there are any around Ft. Knox. I am up there about once a week, and haven't seen one. There are a few in Louisville, I just don't know where they are. Someone will jump in, and point you in the right direction here shortly.

Louisville has some great shops. The Liquor Barn on Hurstborne has a HUGE humidor.

There is also J Shepard Tobacco at 1429 Bardstown Rd.

Kremers is downtown at 401 E Jefferson St.

Fayette Cigar Store is downtown at 137 E. Main Street

Finally there is Oxmoore Smoke Shop in the Oxmoore Shopping Center at 7900 Shelbyville Rd., go in the Dicks Sporting Good entrance and walk through Dicks and once your in the mall, it'll be on your right.

When are you going to be in town? I'll be in the area on Tuesday and part of Wednesday for a bit visiting some accounts.

Those are all pretty good shops. I mainly go to Kremers or J Sheppards. You could check out both they are only about 10 mins apart Shepard carries a lot of stuff that Kremers doesn't.

Fayette is in Lexington which is about 70 miles from Louisville.

+3 vote for Kremers and J Shepherds! I frequent these two quite a bit. Kremers also disregards the smoking ban. So if you have time to stick around, light up and enjoy!

Ian is right about the Liquor Barn, it has a large selection and quite a bit of the newer cigars. Their prices aren't too shabby either!

My bad about Fayette, got it confused. Others are all great shops though.

As said before Kremers is a great place. I always stop in there with my dad when ever I'm back home
