Cant log on to our old home?
 

Did something change? I tried to log on this afternoon and Puff is asking me to complete profile information to log on to the site. Anyone else have this problem?

Didn't get it either but it looks like others are. I also didn't have to login though as my computers are set to remember.

The profile information used to be optional. I assume he is now using this information to build a demographic database. Then he can sell targeted ads using profile information.

I was able to log in just fine.

Made one irrelevant post (just to bring my post count up to an even 1400--where I thought I HAD been!) and that was all.

That seals it for me, just as effective as a ban as far as I'm concerned. No reason to go back to the old apartment when the new house is this nice.

And mine still works...I too don't like the thought of him using my name for his profit. I do not support John Caputo in any of his cigar-esque endeavors and hope they...never mind.

I haven't said anything with ill intent and have no intention of that either. I did state that my attempt to log in was successful. That was on topic. I felt that the topic was stating something was awry and I merely mentioned the only thing awry for me.

A few of us over there asked for it to be changed; I gave a reason of anonymity as well as some others did too; now the only thing required is email/password--same as before really; everything else is optional.

Reputation or Ring Gauge information has been removed from the Membership List as well as the information that states when a member last visited the site.

As far as I can tell the font size option has been disabled from posts and subsequently some of the previous posts both recent and old show code instead of the specified font size.

As Tom has stated graphic sigs are no longer an option.

I apologize if mentioning this annoys some but I am still working on letting go, thanks for your patience.

:r I don't see the CS or CL clubhouse which was something that was promised when the big move came off. Even though I saved my cookies I can log in pretty quick but I never get to the "promised land" of the old haunts. I just go into the nebular Puff area where I hardly recognize the place except for all of the wonderful ads which are everywhere.:confused:
