JRcigar.com

I've purchased from them for years, anyone else?

Good place but I been buying from CI. JR doesn't carry a lot of the cigars I like.

My father-in-law swears by JR.

That is until I get back and fill him in on CI.

I live 45 minutes from Selma.....

1:30 from Burlington.....

3:00 from Statesville.....

I don't "buy" from them, I pay their utility bills.

:D

Re: JRcigar.com

Owned by Altadis as I recall, so most of their products reflect that.

Regardless, while I do my best to stay away from them, I do on occaision give way to some of their excellent prices on 5vers.

Punch Champions for 12 bucks
Bolivar Confradia for 10 bucks?

Excellent deals.

Usually, when I find specials!!!

Re: JRcigar.com

I was going to place a large order for the SCHIP cigars they had on sale- but the shipping was $35 plus. Fogeddaboudit! Those deals weren't so good after that. I emailed them, but didn't hear back. So, they are not high on my list. I do usually stop at the Statesville store when visiting my outlaws in Mooresville and pick up a few items.

Re: JRcigar.com

I've been a customer for about 16 years. I've always gotten great customer service and fresh product. It was great during the "Boom Years" that they didn't take any new customers. It was difficult getting cigars, but I always knew I could count on them to have something good to smoke at a fair price.

But now the Devil site has stolen my soul so I only buy specials from JR.

Around 3 years now, good prices, low shipping charge, never had a single problem with them, the auction is good for some really good deals.

25 minutes from Burlington, and yet I only go in 2-3 times a year. I like some of their 5ers and samplers. I've bought from jr.com a handful of times. No real complaints.

Sometimes. But like said before, they lack a variety of stuff I want.

Cincy, I've never had any problems with JR's and still purchase from them from time to time. It's fun participating in their Auction too:ss

Re: JRcigar.com

JR has been skipable for me when checking for deals. Prices are generally ho-hum, and they've sent me moldy cigars twice.

Re: JRcigar.com

I have ordered from them about a dozen times and never had any problems.

Yes, I have been there. They have a very nice selection, but I like the prices at TPS better :cool2:

They're one of the few places I know of that sell the ERDM Flor de Llaneza. I've been buying those from Lew since the early 90s. I also visit the Paramus store sometimes when I go see the folks.

Re: JRcigar.com

If they have a name brand you after, then it's all the same. Their own labeled cigar are horrible.

Re: JRcigar.com

I'm on their e-mail list and occasionally bid in the Dutch Auction, but otherwise shop at CI. No complaints about the purchases I have done at JR, though.

Re: JRcigar.com

I live directly between their Statesville and Burlington stores, and drive past them every few weeks for work. That has been a terrible development in my budgeting. Last week picked up 3 boxes in Statesville, after forcing myself out the door empty-handed in Burlington the week before.

No will power. *sigh*

Re: JRcigar.com

I love JR's. Their prices are ridiculous and the JR alternative house brand bundles are damn tasty. The only thing I order from them anymore are the alternatives. If you just want a mild and delicious yard 'gar, they're near unbeatable in my opinion. Other than that though, I don't have much use for JR since they don't carry Padron or most other small boutique brands, DPG, etc.

Re: JRcigar.com

Just bought a bundle of Alt Cuban Cohiba sig IVs and a box of Punch Elite maduros yesterday from JR
