Tatuaje
So, I have yet to try any of these. I know, I know. Flame me if you want. :D
I am a fan of natural wrappers with a creamy flavor. What would be the one to try? Thanks, R |
Re: Tatuaje
I enjoy the brown label tats
|
Re: Tatuaje
Start off with the Red Labels (Havana IV) the Angeles is a PC size that is awesome! :tu
|
Re: Tatuaje
I haven't had a Black, Brown or Red that I didn't like.
|
Re: Tatuaje
I wouldn't describe any of the Tats as "creamy" ... just my :2
|
Re: Tatuaje
I've had the white, brown & red labels. Of those, I think the red (Havana) series is the "creamiest", although that's not the first word I would use to describe any of the Tatuaje line. I prefer the brown & white to the red.
Also, these are not Tats but the Cabaiguan & La Riqueza (other Pete Johnson cigars) are probably "creamier." The La Riqueza in particular is :dr |
Re: Tatuaje
i have had the la riqueza and didn't like it one bit.
i have a red label in the humi right now and i think that might be my smoke for tomorrow. |
Re: Tatuaje
I have never associated "creamy" with a Tat!!!
Maybe it is just me but these are not creamy... The Black label is probably the "creamiest", if there were such a thing for a Tat!!!:ss Sorry... I had my post edit open for awhile!!! Looks like others are in agreement with the word "creamy"! |
Re: Tatuaje
ok ok. i get the point. :D
how about least spicy?? :ss |

Re: Tatuaje
I agree that you should start with the red labels. Of those I like the Hermosa (corona gorda) the best. I will say that the Tats like all Pepin's are best with a few months minimum in the humi. YMMV
|
Re: Tatuaje
The Havana VI to me has a subtle spice, with alot of coffee, cocoa dominate flavors, mixed with an earthy undertone. But thats just me. Although I prefer the Brown label over the Havana VI, but the Havana has made itself a staple in my cabinet, I always have a box on hand.
But the Black label destroys all other labels, lol. |

Re: Tatuaje
Im a Tat whore...If youre looking for creamy, the Cabaiguan, also by Pete Johnson/ DPG is up your alley.
|
Re: Tatuaje
Yeah... Houdini is giving good advice to jump over to the Cabiguan line if you are looking for a "creamy" cigar. Still a PJ/Pepin blend, just a different flavor profile.
The brown Tat's predominant flavor is a kind of black pepper spice. The Red labels are a bit milder, but still not creamy. |
Re: Tatuaje
get a cabiguan
stearns |
Re: Tatuaje

Cabaiguan Guapos 46 is awesome.

Re: Tatuaje
If you want a mild and creamy NC try a 3x3 Robusto, seriously! They're cheap as anything ($21 for 9!) are made by Davidoff seconds and to me remind me a bit of a Punch cigars. Failing that PM me and I'll send you a Punch, although if you really want to get funky try a creamy chocolate RyJ Petit Carona!
I've tried the red and brown labels and i agree that neither were creamy. |
Re: Tatuaje
I'm a big fan of the Brown labels. Great taste and are well constructed. There are so many different cigars in the Tatuaje lineup that you're bound to fine one you like.
|
Re: Tatuaje
Hmmm...you like natural wrapper cigars and you like them creamy. I can't answer that...sorry.
Perhaps you could ask Pete Johnson Tatuaje Jason |
