So I didn't go to work today
 

Graduated from a bit odd and strange to being officially eccentric last Wednesday.
Went to the bank today and they were really nice to me.
Jane said she was proud of me for the first time in 40 years last week.
Turned 60 on Sunday. I think that officially makes me old like Peter.
Told Friends and out of the loop family about the ascension to eccentric at the birthday party.
Called a contractor to build a walk in in the basement ASAP.
Decided to add a smoking area - WTF gotta be able to indulge. A walk-in without a place to smoke would be like having a Harem without the equipment to take it out for a ride occasionally.
For some odd reason I was happy for Tom but secretly, since I'm competitive, pissed he retired before me.... and envious he gets monthly checks.
Called Larry and he answers from Cuba... WTF - I need to do that.
Chatted with Michael and he reminds me he owes me money - (I love it when he does) So sends me a check for something I couldn't remember, and cigars that would make Eric envious and calling MO to look for more.
Thinking I should get a haircut - kind of looking like JPH.
Julian - I have an appointment today so .. check.

Maybe I'll smoke a cigar today and think about how to spice up the herf a bit this year.

Nice to finally have the time.... got to check on the herf schedules so many cigars and math that means 30 a day based upon that pesky life expectancy thing. :)

I didn't go to work today either. I've been forgetting to do that for the last 8 or 9 years. Too busy. Today I'm scheduled to go empty the garage ash tray. Think I'm supposed to take the wife out to dinner tonight at one of the casinos too. Don't know how I ever found the time to work before......

Hell, I've got suits that are 60 years old! Happy Birthday and enjoy your retirement. I'm on my third and am now teaching college full time.
