Phantom Menace was painful. I've watched it exactly once.
I'd rather watch Thomas and Adam and Stephen in a two hour light saber battle. They can stop and have a cigar and a drink in their hover lawn chairs while they catch their breath from the first 3 minutes of activity, and it'd still be more entertaining.

I tend to agree with the line of thinking that George didn't write any of the original three movies and did write the last three, it would explain so much.

I just noticed while watching the trailer for the 54th time, that when Luke is talking about how the force is strong in his family he says "My father has it..", now is that because they don't consider "the other side" being dead since they can communicate or am I just reading way too much into this and should probably step away from the laptop. :r

BTW, I was most impressed with the closing shot of the orbiting Death Star, which looked like Jupiter might from the surface of Europa. Massively cool.

I got to see about 4 screen shots from the "Luke's Revenge" leak or whatever it was called. They weren't all that exciting.

So I know a guy (not personally so I know of a a guy) that worked here with me, he was one of the big Star Wars geeks that built a fully functional R2-D2, not only that but Disney would hire him and rent out his 'droid' for promotional gigs, that's how freaking good it was, he has since quit his job here and gone to work for Disney full time working on the Star Wars movies… yes he is truly living the dream.

I just hope it's as good as the original trilogy but seeing as how JJ is directing...his movies weren't really "deep" per se, just eye candy. I hope they really go deep with the new Star wars movies.
