Re: Would you get your favorite cigar in a tattoo
Not only no but hell no :) but then again how many cigars have divorced a man? It might be less painful and cheaper to tatoo your favorite cigar and tell your girlfriend or wife every time you smoke that cigar you think of your latest girlfriend.

Re: Would you get your favorite cigar in a tattoo
A tattoo is a signal sounded on a drum or bugle to recall soldiers to quarters at night. I've sent many a cigar soldier home to rest, so there's that.
Otherwise, I have no body art nor want any, and I'd most certainly not start with a stogie inked into my skin. |
Re: Would you get your favorite cigar in a tattoo
Thought about having the ERDM crest done but it's so subtle & intricate, I'm leery of the results.

I could only imagine trying to explain that one to the grand kids in 20-25 years. |

I had my johnson done. Some times it's a petite corona and sometimes a giant perfecto. Occasionally, a custom roll.

Re: Would you get your favorite cigar in a tattoo
I had "Punxsy" tattooed on my johnson. When it gets worked up, it says Punxsutawney.

I'd pass on a cigar tattoo. Now I've seen some designs that I thought would look cool as a tattoo. Like the OSOK wrappers for instance. :2 |
Re: Would you get your favorite cigar in a tattoo
No.
I'm also guessing that Huber may not be as enamored with his CAO ink now that he has left the company. :sh |

Brand or logo, no way in hell. The closest would be a pipe or cigar integrated into something. Not on my "to do" list though.

Re: Would you get your favorite cigar in a tattoo
I dig the whole tattoo thing. I mean I like to check out good tats, more so on women, I like watching the tattoo shows from time to time, but, I don't want one.

Re: Would you get your favorite cigar in a tattoo
I don't advertise for free let alone pay to do it.

Or even worse....you love some current, excellent smoke, add big tatt across your chest.....a year later, gets sold to some wholesaler, and they produce crap with the same brand name, same logo......like a modern day swisher sweet.... A few years later, you're new wife finally asks, "why do you have a tattoo of those cheap ass cigars on your chest" :D |

Re: Would you get your favorite cigar in a tattoo
If I got one it wouldn't be the main focus and it would probably be a few years down the road when I have smoked a ton more!!
|
Re: Would you get your favorite cigar in a tattoo
If I already had 20 or 30 tats,why not?
Those who had no tats would probably rank a cigar tat way down the list of potential first tats. |
Re: Would you get your favorite cigar in a tattoo
... If it was a real great cigar and the maker offered some serious bennies for the tat. Something like free cigars for life! :r

Re: Would you get your favorite cigar in a tattoo
I do not oppose someone getting a tattoo if that's their desire, but it better be something that they will want to be on their body for a long time. Given our society, tattoos are about the only thing of which it could be said, "till death parts us." And as such, my favorite cigar might be ********** today, but will it be my favorite tomorrow? Or even more importantly, in 20 years, 50 years?
Personally, I've seen too many old marines, sailors, etc... who had great tattoos at one point, but now they look like some sort of disease rotting their flesh. Even have a buddy who got a tattoo only 20 years ago, hasn't had it touched up. It doesn't look anywhere near as good as it used to. He hasn't had it touched up the last 10 years, and says he really doesn't want to pay to have it touched up anymore. Is talking about having it removed. Ouch! (Literally) If you get a tattoo, whatever it is, remember it is there forever. Peace of the Lord be with you. |
