Carrying/Unloading groceries

My wife finds it crazy that ill strap myself down with 14 bags of groceries just so I don't have to go back to make another trip...

Women just don't get it do they?

I know I'm not alone.

My son and I do that, the girls do most of the shopping so we always unload the car. Sometimes it's tough navigating the doors and stairs, but we manage :r

Same here. The wife rolls her eyes, but I make it a point of no more than one trip from the car to the house.

I thought everyone did this?

The lovely Mamafish just rolls her eyes and shakes her head at my insistence that I not be required to make just one more 50ft. trip.

Doesn't anyone else have those rucksacks with the shoulder straps? You know, they are about 3'x2'x2'. You can get about 75 pounds in each one, more if it's all cans. A month's supply in one trip.

If it doesn't look like you're about to trek up mount Everest then you're doing something wrong. Why do women not get this?

Mowing the lawn, taking out the garbage and bringing in groceries. Thought this is the reason people propagate and hope for a son? :sh

No question! My record is 13. I went for 14 yesterday and came up limp right before the front door. I felt my shoulder pulling out of socket. :D

I will make an exception for Viagra though. If you can carry those extra few bags off of it then GO FOR THE GOLD!

Tell the wife first though!.............or don't.........if that's your thing.......SURPRISE HONEY! :D

Re: Carrying/Unloading groceries

Why make more than one trip, that's wasted energy.

Should be able to carry 4 cases of soda in one trip if you use the handles.
