Not a review.

Re: Aging Room
I have been enjoying their stuff. The Maduro is a great smoke and has been a regular in my rotation lately. I also recently tried the Quattro F55 and thought it was great too. I want to try more of their smokes. I've heard the Swagg line is good too.

Re: Aging Room
Big fan of these guys! My first box purchase was the F55 Quattro line. That and the M356 are really good. Big flavor and great construction. The other lines are good however I mostly stick to those two.

Re: Aging Room
The ones I have tried have been good cigars. Worth a shot IMO if you have access to them.

Re: Aging Room
Silly thing, I'm a Porsche fan and collector, and I've wanted to try one of these just because it's a 356! I'm just not too much of a fan of pepper in my smokes, still I'll give one a try one day!

Re: Aging Room
Well, I never claimed it was a review. I'm not big on the "hints of cedar in the first third" type of deal. Partly, because I forget... and then also because it takes me a few tries to really know how I feel about a cigar. I think a lot of it is subconscious; A few days later, I find myself thinking about a cigar and wondering if I should get some more.
Construction was good. The wrapper is interesting to look at at, light and kind of mottled, which I find intriguing - you can't really tell in the pic, because of the strobe. It had an interesting profile, definitely some pepper and woody notes, while still retaining a drier, lighter gestalt, rather than "hit you over the head" spicy. I liked the balance of spice to smooth, without the attendant acrid buildup some sticks get. It also built nicely on its strengths, weaving the pepper, spice and wood into a rich smoke by the end, rather than sinking into the rather woody start and deteriorating. |
