Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
Tatuaje SW Reserva Maduro...hands down, not even close. This stick is in my top three ever smoke. :dr :dr :dr

Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
The Boris was the best I've ever had. Still trying to find a Frank to smoke, since I heard they have the same (or similar) blends.

Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
Tenderloins were pretty good. The red label Angeles also were good.
|
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
I really want to try some of the reserva series from Tatuaje. Of the varieties I've tried so far, my favorite has been the La Casita Criolla followed by the El Triunfador.
|
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
I use to really enjoy the Cazadores. I'm sure I still do, just haven't had one in a long time.

Two of them are listed above. (Assuming the ET is the red band. OR wasn't bad - pretty good, actually....just a bit overpriced, I thought.) |
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
I guess I didn't answer the question.....which is best?......Today - maybe Avion 11. Ask me tomorrow....I might say Anarchy......Friday, it could be Tat BPL.
Honestly, I think a discussion like this is best confined to reg production/reg vitolas -- there's just too many choices.....toss aging into the equation and my mind explodes with the variables. Reg production - Fausto FT166 is just about my perfect profile - Careful about vitolas, though....there are different Tats that might edge out FT140 or FT153....by a little |
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
The TAA 2011 and 2012 (same blend, just different sizes) really hit the spot for me.
|
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
Cazadores and Anarchy :tu and OR Black Label PL's!!!
|
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
Out of regular production sticks, if I could have bottomless boxes of Regios, Regios Reserva and J21's, I'd be just fine. I LOVE all three.
Limited release sticks, probably the Barclay Rex or Pork Tenderloin. But being that I can only recall smoking about 18 of the sticks on that list, it's apparent that my sample size is limited. |
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
That list made my head hurt. That's a LOT of blends/vitolas for a single brand.
I haven't smoked many Tatuajes. I did like the Anarchy. And the Tat black petit lancero. I Have a couple red and a black tubo to smoke. And one of the old HCS ones (gold embossed band), about robusto sized with a box press. |
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
Top has to be the The Pork Tenderloin.
Next up, it's a toss-up between the Boris (much better than the Frank IMO) and the Reserva SW maduro. The Little Boris is really good too. After that, nothing really compares. Although, there is a bunch of really good smokes. Regular production is tough to rank. L'Atelier 54, Cabaiguan beli/corona extra, OB El Tri Angeles, Noella, J21, RSW . . . Honorable Mention goes to the ELO #3 (and #1) in any incarnation, which are also incredible with age. |

I was a big fan of the foil packed DD, but the regular DD was really good too.

Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?

|
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
Reserva SW (not maduro, sorry Mac)
|
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
M80 & J21 are prob my favorites. Which reminds me to spark an m80 on July 4th.
|
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
I've yet to have a Tatuaje that I didn't like
Currently I've been gravitating toward the Avions, El Triunfador's and Black PL's |
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
The Boris. Hands down
|
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
Mexican Experiment.... now if only had some more.
|
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
The Frank was great. Love the Boris too.
|
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
La Verite 2009, noella reserva, drac
that said.. Super Fresh ELOs were amazing IMO. Dan |
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
Holy $hit that's a big list of smokes. I think I've had maybe three of them, so not enough to have an informed opinion.
|
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
I will always miss the beloved East Coast. If I have to go with a regular production Tat I would have to say the Unicos.

OR Cojonu 2003 was the best I ever had then I think they changed wrappers or something like that and it did not taste the same
The J21 is fantastic as well :2 |
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
Wow, I didn't even realize they made so many!

Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
The Tatuaje 2009 was awesome, in every area. Wished I had a box car full with a hummi to Hold'Em.

|
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
Verocu No9
Petite Cazadore Reserva La Riqueza w/ age. |
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
So far my favorite is the Tat Black Tubo
|
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
I thought this would be cut and dry, Regios. But then remembered La Riqueza ( 1st cigar I picked up a strong fruit note from, being black cherry). Then remembered the NHC ELO6 or Holts Verocu#9 if you will.
|
Re: What Tatuaje had the best flavor profile for you?
Cabaiguan corona extra
The el Triunfador original lancero is amazing too |
