I just look on gasbuddy.com, it has prices for lots of areas in most (all?) of the states and Canada.

I hears something about three refineries having problems that supply much of the Midwest. Depending on where you go in Motown, it's around 3.74 to around 4.00 for 87 octane.

I always shake my head at this one BP station right across from Detroit Metropolitan Airport. They routinely have the highest prices in the Detroit area. It's obvious why of course but I still think it's bull tripe.

Just roughing the math over in my head we are over 6/gal for regular. My car drinks premium and with me behind the wheel it gets about 13mpg :)

Gallon is 3.8 liters. So it would be $7.77

see this is what annoys the hell out of me about the gallon measure as a imperial gallon(what a gallon in the UK) is 4.54 litres then dry gallon and then the US gallon. Though no matter what way you look at it still depresses the hell out me that I have to cough up $180 just to fill up a truck

The whole thing is a scam. I filled up in Springfield, Missouri in 1999 for $0.749/gal. I get inflation but that's 400% inflation in 14 years. I get China discovered cars 100 years after the rest of us too but it doesn't add up.
