Fantasy Hockey Time is here!

Same stakes as last season, same rules apply. Everyone was in one of the two leagues last season, but post if you have any questions.

I will make our league "draft ready" Sunday so we have the draft before the season starts, so pre-rank your players if you so desire.

Looks like some roster changes right off the get-go, hope everyone likes their team. I am worried about scoring, but you just never know who will have a big season, and who will stay healthy.

? When you have "max reached" at a position, does it still tally stats for your team if you start players in those maxed positions? I would assume it wouldn't; however, I would think it that the site wouldn't even allow you to start someone who is in a "max reached" position. But it seems like the site still allows you to put starters in those positions. I just want to make sure that you only get points for your players until the max is reached, and then those points do not accumulate any longer.

**If the points still count, then I will keep playing for sure so I do not miss out.

For example, if you all want to look, team "Mr. Maduro" had reached his max for "D" (defensive players), but last night's scores for those two players he had on his starting roster added into the bottom line score for his team (albiet a -3 +/- score), but I cannot tell if those stats were actually counted for his season totals. And tonight (Monday) he has 3 D men on his starting roster...do those stats count?

Just want to make sure because I am holding some guys off my starting lineup in hopes of better matchups.

Once you've maxed out, those stats are not added to your totals, Cole.

(Not the Hurricanes... their collapse in the second half was epic, but I got to see some entertaining hockey. Enjoying having Semin and Jordan Staal in Raleigh.)

4 days left and I am 1/2 point out of dead last, my worst season ever. :r

I'm in first in a league on another board, go figure....some skill and strategy, but definitely a lot of luck involved too.

I keep looking each day and holding my breath...some stiff competition. Now all I can do is hope to not lose points from the position players and hope my goalies can pick a couple more up! Good luck in the stretch!

After talking to a few of the long time players, we will change the format to a head-to-head league next year to make the league more fun, more strategy based and more competitive. We will also combine PP goals and assist into PP points, short handed goals and assists into SH points, and add categories for hits and shots on goal.
