Baby on the way!
 

Well it's been a couple weeks since we've found out now but I just wanted to let you all know that the wifey and I are expecting! :) She's only 7 weeks but we just can't contain our excitement! Any advice out there for a first time Dad? And most importantly...what cigars should I be passing out on April 13th when our little bundle is due?! -(P

You will get more advice than you bargained for. Both for being a new Dad and for cigars to hand out. I will let the rest of the inmates do that.

I will just wish you all the best for a happy and healthy pregnancy and baby. I can offer one bit of advice that will likely be echoed a million times but it is so very true.

Cherish every moment because they grow up oh so fast.

My baby is 16, driving, has a part-time job, and is only a 1/2 inch shorter than me. It goes so fast. Enjoy it!

Thanks guys! My father in-law and I spent Saturday at Corona Cigars in Orlando while the wifey took a long nap on her birthday before dinner. We went ahead and grabbed a couple of Padron 1926 No.9 Natural's and sat with a few craft brews and just talked about how exciting this all was. I'm definitely in for a wild ride! Here's a pic of the good time accessories.

Congrats brother. You are in for one HELL of a learning curve!!!! Life as you know it, will never be the same. But, I wouldnt have traded it for anything in the world.

Congrats! We had our son one and a half years ago...we waited, what an experence.


Anyhow, I chose RP Connecticut for my non cigar smoking buddies, and Gran Habano Vintage for those who enjoy a good cigar. They are a good smoke for the money, and the RP's and quality smokes and very mild.

Congrats. I became a first time father 7 months ago and it has changed my life for the better. I couldn't imagine my life without my daughter and the joy that she brings to my life every day. Enjoy every moment that you can. As far as the cigars go, get what you like and tell everyone else to deal with it. LOL :)

Congrats and best wishes. I can't help on parenting advise on little ones. Hers was six when met. Love him like he was mine though.

Congrats! My wife and I are due in the next 9 days (our first)! What a ride thus far and as you can tell its already started for you!!

Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy and baby!! As for the cigars... I echo what others have said, get what you like.

Congrats! Our first is just a little over a year and a half and I wouldn't trade being a dad for anything in the world. When she's 16 we will see if I still feel the same:r. J/K
My only advice is stock up on smokes now as your buying habits will probably be greatly effected once that little one arrives even if just temporarily. As far as what to smoke with friends to celebrate your bundle of joy, get whatever you and your buddies are really enjoying at the time. No sense going off the grid trying to buy something special for the occasion only to find out you and your buddies don't like it.

Congrats! Its exciting news! As far as cigars i would get some cheap ones because I am assuming not everyone who will be smoking will be an avid cigar smoker.

Congrats! Check Tampa Sweethearts. They have "It's a girl" or "boy" cellos and are good, cheaper smokes.

Congrats man. These are exciting times in your life. Ours is about 18 mos. now, and, it sounds cliche but it seems like yesterday she was being handed to me for the first time. Pro tip, don't let them try 7up for a long time! Apparently it's like crack to them.

I will echo the advice to stock up on cigars; additionally, I would recommend stocking up on some sleep!
Oh and helping out with those middle of the night feedings will pay dividends, I promise.
