Corona-ish sized cigars

I have determined the corona size is my favorite vitola. I find I never have the time for a larger cigar and this size fits my schedule. Also I spend time traveling by airplane so I only carry a bic, these little guys are easy to light with a soft flame and they smoke well in the wind. I always bring around a travel humidor with smokes I want to have, the smaller cigars always get smoked and I've been carrying some larger ones around for months.

I am right in between two vacations, once all of the bills are settled I might have a little extra cash to pick up some fivers. What should I try? I've had and enjoyed the Illusione MK, Tatuaje Black Petite Lancero, Oliva V #4, Partagas Short, Bolivar PC and Fuente Short Story. I'd prefer NC suggestions because I can buy fivers of them while CC I gotta get a whole box.

I have always liked the Tat Noella and the Room 101 OSOK Filero

Re: Corona-ish sized cigars

I like the tat la casita criolla in the corona size. A nice change of pace, with some sweetness to it. C-bid usually has them for about $4 a stick.

La Aurora Cameroon coronas; or the corojo if you prefer. And there's a maduro as well.

Doug you hit it on the head right there. That stick is a sleeper!

Id like to Add to the list the:

MOW Puro Authentico Maduro
Room 101 Namakubi Papi Chulo
La Reloba Sumatra Corona (OR) I think the blend has changed
originally these were strong as s**t! (but you can try a 5er
from a new shipment and you may get the same experience)
601 Green Corona i believe this line is discontinuing so you may
want to actually buy a box!

Another vote for the Alec Bradley Tempus Genesis! A great little stick that seems to fly under the radar.

Not really corona sizes, but the Nestor Miranda Coffee Break and the Padron 2000 maduro are smallish and don't take long to smoke. I love both of these when time is a concern.

Padron Londres, either natural or maduro is a GREAT petit.

Bought a few Corona Clown Car samplers from CI. The ones I enjoyed the most are only available from that sampler as far as I know. The Diesel, 5 Vegas AAA, and Puro Authentico which I am really glad I also bought a box of. Very unique. Only wish the maduro version was available at the time of my annual bulk order. I really like NC Punch natural London Club as well.

La Sirena Sea Sprites pack a nice little kick
Dunhill Signature Coronas are a nice morning/midday smoke
Tat Petit Cazadores, one of the best go tos IMO for a quick little smoke
Tat 7th *insert whatever wrapper suits your fancy here*, another good one
El Triunfiador (can't remember the sizes, but most of them aren't much bigger if at all than a corona)
My Father El Picadors, always a good standby for when I can't decide what I want at work

I'm newer to the "little guy" world, but am finding that I really enjoy them a lot.

So far, my favorites have been:

PDR 1878 Maduro corona. Very nice little stick.
Oliva V #4
Undercrown Corona Viva
MUWaT Baitfish
Liga Privada Dirty Rat <-my absolute favorite
Tatuaje Petit Cazadores Reserva
Tatuaje Noella

Has anyone tried the La Vieja Habana maduro corona? I heard good things, but haven't bought any yet.

Oliva has the Serie O in a #4 that's very good. I also like their Connecticut reserve PC. And the Serie G has the Special G which is a figurado but fits your time needs. The Special G is actually my favorite size of the Serie G.

I'd add the Tat Havana VI Angeles to the list.

Cannot speak more highly of these. The Undercrown viva Corona is a great smoke and only run about 7 per.

Lot of good suggestions above. I'd add the Cain Daytona, which comes in a corona size

I wish they would make this a regular release. All I really smoke anymore are corona/PC. I missed that special release a year or so ago. I saw CI has the Oliva V Melanio in this size. Has anyone tried this blend?

Pepin does roll a lot of corona size cigars - most of them are pretty dang good for the price. I have boxes of the Havana VIs and Reserva coronas, and both are excellent. The brown Tatuajes that are US rolled have a nice kick to 'em too.

Ill second the Sig IIs!

The most surprising cigar I have had in a while, Lou Rodriguez Connecticut corona. A very good cigar.

We have some of the V #4s in stock at work if you're still lookin for some, and actually have more on the way according to our Oliva rep.

And to stay on topic, I'd add the Four Kicks Seleccion No. 5, though its more of a lonsdale.
