So I ordered 100 bucks or so worth of cigars from CI today. When I went to the confirmation screen it had some old address in alabama on it. I went into ****** and changed the address and when I got back to the confirmation screen, there was my new address. I the selected 2day shipping to AK/HI for an extra 20 bucks and was like "yeah I'm gonna get some cigars on Thursday". I confirmed my order and somehow they managed to ship it out to Alabama even though the "ship to" address was Hawaii when I hit the confirm button, and they charged me Hawaii shipping.

So I called em up and they said they'd figure out what went wrong and get back to me. Hoping for a good result here. Hopefully CI has good service. Thoughts??

I personally like CI's service. I don't like how they don't like to haggle obvious deals, but as a company they reserve the right to be dicks.

Well they just called me, they've redirected the shipment to Honolulu and credited me 11.00 because I'm not going to be getting it in 2 days. I'm very impressed with them, I was honestly expecting this to be a lot of trouble to fix.

glad to see im not the only poor bastard paying big bucks to ship to hawaii! I have had mixed results with cigars international, but nothing that could not be fixed. If you have patience, cbid has no extra charge to hawaii, and cigar place.biz has one dollar shipping in the beginning of the month.

Don't worry about times, cigars in transit seem to be pretty durable. I came home from vacation last month to find a package on my doorstep that had been there for a few days. It had been rained on, but everything inside turned out fine.
