I have never used the aforementioned ashtray but I can recommend one that is used by many around here.

The Stinky

Multiple sizes and styles and great for more then one person. You can buy directly from the site but they can be found elsewhere for cheaper.:tu

Thank you.

It looks nice and closes up for portability -- the kinds of things I like when travelling, but that is a lot of money for an ashtray...

Its over priced!

Stinky makes a really nice product.

Here are a couple I would consider first for way less:

Just out of curiosity with 7 people saying to get a stinky why would you go against everyone's opinion and go with the more expensive ashtray? You can pick up the Stinky for around 20.00 and the one you wanted an opinion on is 52.00. I just don't understand but it's your money. :2

Just to play devil's advocate.
It's only 7 people who he neither knows or has met. Even if it is 700, why does asking for opinions demand they be followed. Asking for opinions is not the same as "make a decision for me".

I like it and I don't see anything wrong with wanting nice things. For me, acquiring nice accessories is part of my enjoyment of the hobby. I may get one, myself.

Lesson learned about ebay, ALWAYS read the fine print. My girlfriend still hasn't gotten this figured out, she never reads it.

Dimensions: 3.75” (Height) x 3.75” (Width) x 1.00” (Depth)

This isn't much better than just a cigarette tray.

Re: Zimmer Stainless Steel Cigar Ashtray with 2 Cigar Rests

I use this one in my car for ashes. It sits right on the console and stays put. It's pretty cheaply made, but works well. It also does not have a rest for the cigar, but I hold on to my cigar when I drive and usually carry my cigar stand with me when I travel. I bought a few of these because of how inexpensive they are. It is not a large ashtray, but the bottom holds plenty of ashes and a couple nubs.
