A great brother of the leaf
 

I short bit ago I posted that I was going to Birmingham Al., without any response. Therefore I didnt think that there were any brothers in Birmingham on the Board. However, recently I saw that a new brother on the board(upin smoke) was from Birmingham, so I reached out to him. We set a time to meet at his local B&M and tonight I set out for a smoke with a new friend.

WoW..what a great B&M and what a great BOTL. He was laid back and passionate about smokes. He quickley helped me find a couple of smokes for the evening. First a Illusion then later a Anarchy.

Once in seats with a drink and a smoke I gave him a small hello gift of a few of the caronas I carry for the 30 min smoke times while working on the road. We talked about cigars, rock and roll, work, .....etc for a couple of hours. To soon I had to call it quits and head back to the hotel to get ready for another day of work.

"Upinsmoke" was a great brother and I will call on him again for a smoke and a drink before living town.

I am On the left and Bo(Upinsmoke)is on the right.

Well said Kevin! This is one of the great points about smoking cigars...They really do bring people together. It is a common bond that we all share no matter what other interests we have we will always have one that unites us...the love of cigars!

Sometimes I wish I traveled more for work and had opportunities to meet other BOTL's.

I enjoyed last night very much. None of my buddies smoke so it was nice to smoke and talk cigars with someone that shares the passion. Stephen is as great guy. I hope we get to get together a few more times before he has to leave Birmingham. He gave me a gift as well. An AF corona, La Herencia Cubana box-press corona and a Diesel Unlimited(smoked it last night). Thanks for the smokes and hitting me up to herf.

Awesome :) Thanks for sharing. It's nice reading about stuff like this. I post on MANY forums and I have never seen a brotherhood like the one that exists on here.

Met Crownedone at Cigars&More 280 tonight. Smoked a couple of good smokes. Talked cigars,work,etc. Stephen is a great guy to smoke and talk with.

Ha...You beat me too it...Meeting a great brother while away from family on the road helps a great deal and is a wounderful thing. Another great time and a great smoke helping ease the pain of being away.

Stephen.... Sorry I missed you and your post! I was in Greenville Mississippi at that time, and limited to my cell phone. If you get back down this way, post again, and maybe add it to the Bama Boyz Banter thread (where most of us Bama Boyz are subscribed), and maybe we can get you a bigger crowd!
