I just finished an Illusione 2 Belicoso. What a great smoke! I had an 88 a while back and it was also very good, but maybe a little more full bodied.

For those who enjoy this brand, what are your favorite Illusione vitolas, and why?

I've only had 3, but so far for me it is the Epernay Le Petite.

888 maddies are my favorite of the lines I've tried, but the MJ12 naturals are always a good go to. Haven't had any of the Epernays yet.

CG4 - Lots of other great Illusiones, but I always come back to the CG4. Just about the best NC ever.

Epernay is the way to go. The la petite epernay, one of the best nc sticks imo

I am a huge fan of Illusione...I just picked up a 2 and another Epernay this week. I definitely like the Holy Lance (Hl) maduro they put out :tu But anything Illusione right now is the way to go!! Oh and the cg4 or the 42g are also really good the cg4 more than the 42g because of the size. I've been wanting to try a 888 maduro just have trouble finding them...but the 888 is an excellent stick!

I have aslo had the Nosotros which was a blend from Dion and Jonathon Drew. Was different that all other illusiones I have had so far. I enjoyed it but I must say right now these sticks are quickly becoming favorites of mine.

Got this as a Xmas present from ja3480. Never smoked an Illusione but after reading this thread I think the cg4 will be my first.

I love all of the Maduros :dr but find myself smoking the cg-4 must of the time...
I also tryed the MK Ultra this weekend and it was pretty good...

For me, its the smaller ring guages. MK, 68, CG4, Lancero.
This goes for the Epernay's too.

My top three Illusiones right there and in that order. The profile of the hl and how it builds is perfect. The cg4 is the perfect size and flavor. And the 68 is kinda the short on time version.

I had an 88 a while back and liked it. keep meaning to get a few more, but everytime I hit the B&M I see something else I have to have....

Thanks! That's what I figured. So far I've had an 88, cg:4 Maduro, and now 888. 888 is by far my favorite so far.

Hmm, I have smoked the majority of the line; to include the off-shoots. IMHO, it is one of the most enjoyable marca when it comes to a large variety.

I prefer the Cruzado Marios and 4/2g

I picked up a few singles of the maduro HL, and thought it was just okay. For me, this wrapper just did not go with the blend, but that's just me. The regular HL, however, is smoking VERY well! I've tried several other sticks, and have not found one yet I did not like a lot. I'm a huge fan of the Epernay, but these HL's are really good too.

I'm looking forward to trying the candela wrapper some time.

I smoked an Epernay today, it was a bit light in the flavor dept I thought. But I've been smoking a lot of Maduros lately. Only my second Illusione, I wasn't wowed by the mk either. Maybe I'll pick up an mk ultra and see what comes of it.

My favorite from Illusione is the Epernay (btw also one of my favorites of any brand). After that the CG4 and the 68s. Also like the Cruzado petite coronas (forgot the name).
