Keezer project is done
All I need to do now is add beer. It will hold 10 corny kegs which is 50 gal of beer. Stainless Perlicks, one piece shanks, Johnson temp control, 8 way distribution air block, and my favorite part......whiteboard paint on the front 1x10 so I can write what is gonna come out

Re: Keezer project is done
Awesome job! How difficult was it to get a good seal around the tap collar when you remounted the lid? That's the part that has me worried about doing this myself.

Re: Keezer project is done
Really nice, bro.

Re: Keezer project is done
Nice work there from one beer lover to another! I am sure you will get tons of good quality use out of it! :tu

I got a soild seal just like if the lid was resting on the original body. Just made sure to use a square jig for the corners as well as seeing that the tops of both the 1x10 and 1x8's matched up. The existing rubber seal that is on the lid rests just fine ontop of the wood frame I mad. I Say if this is the only thing holding you back....DO IT!!! ;o) |
Re: Keezer project is done
Nice. I have a 15cf keezer with 4c02 and 1 nitro taps. 4 kegs tapped and 2 on deck, plus plent of room for bottles and ingredients
