I'm gonna guess that the above is fav novel/author. I don't read fiction. My favorite author is Steven Ambrose. The book that most shaped my world view is The Sum of Good Government by Phil Crane. |

I tend to like the horror genre when I have time to read for pleasure.
Stephen King....love "Pet Semetary" and "Misery". Dean Koontz....favorite is "Midnight". Also dig Richard Preston. My favorite from him is "Demon in the Freezer". Truth can be scarier than fiction. ;) |

Re: Favorite Author/Novel
I read a number of different genres, but as for favorite authors (my "go to" authors :D,) I'd have to say Robert Jordan (R.I.P.)--specifically the Wheel of Time series--in fantasy and Stephen Baxter in sci-fi. The wife & I both will read every John Sandford book as soon as it's released, although we prefer the audioversions read by Richard Ferrone. Good stuff.
