These are awesome. I was lucky enough to track down a decent amount of the initial release sticks. Got to say that before I did I only had one and it was after that one that I was on a mission. IMHO these are the best Black next to the original CG.

Speaking of which, is it only the wrapper that differentiates this blend from the brown Especial or is the filler different, too?

They are showing available now although earlier they were sold out. Wish I had the extra fundage to order a box just to tuck away for 6 or so months. Just blew my cigar budget by putting new wheels and tires on the truck this week.

Still no confirmation email or charge to my card but I did get a email with a tracking number. I'll take that as confirmation enough that I"ve got an order on the way.

I was going to order from New Havana, but by the time I made up my mind this evening they were sold out. Paid a few more dollars for shipping but Smoke Inn had them in stock so we'll see!

Grabbed a box from NHC. Can not wait. These have quickly become my go to smoke. I couldnt agree more that I think this is the new cigar of the year.

Got a fiver last week at one of my B&Ms and smoked one there. I have a box or two coming in this week. I very good smoke, lots of spicy and leather flavors. This is definitely one you want to get whenever you can.

Just called Smoke Inn and I guess I got on the list for the second shipment which is coming in tomorrow. They'll ship them out tomorrow so I should have them by Friday :tu

I was able to grab a box last week. It's a great stick. If you can find them I recommend picking up 1 or 2 or a box, whatever works.

I posted this in the NC purchase thread, but thought I'd post it over here too...

Alright gentlemen...if you do have some Tat Black PL's I'd suggest taking them out of the box. Took the foam out and left it overnight (thought the foam was causing the smell), opened it today and it still smelled very strongly like lacquer. I can't imagine they've been in the box long enough to matter yet, but if you're planning on aging them awhile I can't imagine it would be ideal.

I did smoke one last week and they smoked fine, so like I said, no effect yet, but long term I'd say no bueno.

Just got my box today. While the box does not smell like cigars, cedar, or even regular wood, I would say it has a faint chemical smell. Took the sticks out just to be safe.

Same here after just taking them out of the freezer. I guess I'll let the box air out and see if it loses that off smell.

So are these tasting like the first batch they made for the one store not in the foil packs or has the flavor changed being the are wet pack?
