It appears as thought the secret to stumping him is not knowing enough about the character. Every question in theory should be a yes or no.

Meh it asks 900000 questions till it's impossible to get it wrong.
Still took 2 tries. 2 tries again...25 questions Yeah ask enough questions and you can figured out anything. Interesting though. |

What makes this able to be impressive is that apparently most people think of the same small (relatively) set of characters. As long as you think of the same character as many other people do, it will be able to guess quickly.

It got quite a few of mine including Skeletor (from He-Man), Gomer Pyle, and it took the longest on Fred Savage, before I stumped it with George Tobias (Abner Kravis from Bewitched)
