I have the 30 stick Cigar Caddy that I bought from Atlantic, and I really like it. I leave smokes in there for months at a time with a Boveda pack, and the smokes are always perfect.

Re: Herf cases
Get the 30 ct for herfs. The fives are nice for non-herf situations. But you dont have any space for trading materials!:ss

Re: Herf cases

I own/carry/use the following.... Xtreme 5 ct (2 ea) Pelican 1050 case CigarCaddy 24ct CigarCaddy 30ct Xtreme 50 ct Pelican 1450 Pelican 1500 Pelican 1610 Pelican 1660 (2 ea) And my newest addition, a Hardigg Storm Case i2450. |
Re: Herf cases
I'm probably going to get a 30 count box. Right now its hard to pull the trigger on one when I want to buy cigars too. Cigars or herf box........hmmmmm can't make up my mind.;)
|
Re: Herf cases
I use an 18 count X-Treme for traveling and such. And either a three finger case or my front shirt pocket if I'm just going out for the night.
|
Re: Herf cases
Have a whole bunch of different travel humis. They are something you end up paying more attention to after yoiu have been to your first herf. So many different sizes, styles etc.
The Halliburtan's sit atop the bling scale but the plastic ones do a better job of maintaining hmidity and temperature. |
Re: Herf cases
tobii3, I hold you personally responsable for my purchase today!
After reading your post I went out and bought a Pelican Case 1500. These are great cases and this size allows me to travel for work and take along 30 to 50 sticks no problem, so thanks for reminding me just how good this size is brother. Travis Quote:

Re: Herf cases
For day to day use I load and carry a simple 2 or 3 finger case. For week long trips or vacation I use the 16ct brief case from CI. I don't use either of these for long term storage so they both work out great for me.
In the old days, I'd just use an empty cigar box with a good seal and clasp when I went herfing. It did the job just fine. |

Re: Herf cases
2ct finger case
15ct herf-a-dor 84ct custom box with RonC's trays and cedar lining. I travel a lot for 2-8 weeks at a time, so the 84ct is wonderful for that. Tobii3, that's a lot of pelicans!!! I've been thinking about trying the 1450. Posted via Mobile Device |
