I'm jealous of everyone picking up these Traeger's. Thought I had one I was gonna get locally off craiglist but the guy never emailed me back after 3 separate attempts. Had to settle for the Weber Smokey Mountain 22.5" instead.

haha, Okay. Just to prove I have a camera and moderate computer skills

Here is the grill with the free front shelf

And here is the cool cover for the grill

The grilling area (418 sq in) is about 1/3 less than my charcoal grill, but I'm anxious to see how it cooks

Ok first cookout, I cooked chicken (wings and breast) to make it simple.

It took twice as long as my charcoal grill because I was playing with the settings, but it did taste good and nothing was burnt.

I cooked wings for my wife and breasts for my inlaws

I didn't get the camera until we finished eating
http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x...rstcook002.jpg

I removed the breasts and cooked the wings on high foe a while, that's how my wife likes them.

All in all, it cooked well, My cooking time maybe to long for awhile, until I get through playing with it

Cooked again today, boneless beef ribs and pork chops. I'll probably have to cook everyday for 6 monthes to pay for it, :D

Anyway I like how you can set it to smoke and go do chores for a couple hours. Never having to worry about wood or charcoal running low is very nice.

Great choice Tony.

I am also a Traeger fan.

So far I have burned around 1000 pounds of pellets. It has done 13 racks of ribs at one time. We love it.

Wow, that's some cooking. You sure take good care of your grill.
I plan on trying to cook my first brisket(ever) next weekend. Any suggestions?

I don't really have any complaints, heats up fast like a gas grill, but with plenty of smoke induced flavor.

My mind keeps trying to fiqure out how to compress wood dust and cut out the middle man, lol
