Anyone know Parafumar?
 

If you know him, I would appreciate a PM. I paid him for some cigars over a month ago. I have tried his email, and no response. Unfortunately he hasn't been on since a few days after I paid him. I have all but given up on ever getting the cigars I paid for. I learned my lesson and will never use P-pal gift again. Well just wanted to get this off my chest so I can start the new year off fresh :tu

Yes, but not if you use "gift" or some of the other methods. Thankfully I was only buying 10 cigars at what seemed like a good price. I am only out about $90. Lesson learned. Unfortunately for him, I have friends who will now have him on their radar.

I received an e-mail from Rick today. He said he just got out of the hospital after an extended stay, and hopes to get all cigars out later this week. He asked me to pass this message along to the Asylum.

If he's in middle Tennessee, he is absolutely correct about getting out! Yesterday was the first day our mail actually ran/could get thru to our house this week. This wasn't a snow problem in Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia. It was 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ice, then 4-12 inches of snow, then another 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ice. Until the melt started today, I could walk on top of 6 inches of snow, and the ice layer would only crack if I kicked it in with a heel of my boot! And, in the south, they just do not have the equipment to deal with this kinda mess. I don't know the seller involved here, but, just backing you up here, Tom, from someone stuck in this snow mess. Thank God for the global warming that will be happening over the next 3 days!

Sometimes good people do bad things. Sometimes good people find themselves in situations that they can't control. Sometimes good people can't do the right thing because of personal difficulties, even if they want too. Maybe this brother isn't well, he's said he'd make it right. He should get the benefit of the doubt for a while.:2

He told me a month ago he had been hospitalized, Jeff. He also told me he would have them out in a week. Two weeks later, he said he would have them out that week. His "benefit of the doubt" is starting to run low. :2

I just don't believe he has any plans on making good on this. He could have contacted Icehog3 or better yet, Acarr and myself. To let us know the deal. I think he is just another scammer, if he makes good I will retract that statement, but at this point it doesn't appear likely.

It is a shame because we can ban him from the Asylum for not making good, but that won't help Bobby or Andrew get their stuff. It is inevitable though if he continues to ignore his obligations.

I appreciate your help. The thing that bugs me about this, is not the money, its the scammer who came and sullied "our board" (Actually the ToE's, but you know what I mean) and tried to wreck the good vibe here. By taking advantage of the kindness between members here.

I still love this place.
