Not out yet...MIGHT be arriving today, MIGHT be early next week. They were supposed to arrive at the store last Friday, but Tatuaje didn't even get them in until this week, so there wasn't a solid date on when Barclay was actually going to be receiving them.

I'm probably gonna get my 5er from the GB Brutus set up right before I leave for SC, so mine will rest 2 weeks before I try one and let 4 rest until they get a few years on em

Hoping it is good, but I find it hard to believe they will be better then the Pork Tenderloin... **Shrug**

Yep, got them in today, but (from what I was told) will not be shipping until Tuesday...Have to get all the info on boxes etc I assume...

I called this morning and the guy I talked to said they would start calling people on the list Monday and they would ship the same day. I hope these really are a slightly bigger version of the Pork Tenderloin.

I am in Detroit, and havent heard of any B&M around here that will be selling, any recommendations for retailers that will ship....any help very appreciated.

You should call and confirm, did they ever take your CC info? If they did, check to see if it was charged.

Me too... don't worry bro, I just got off the phone with them and he said they are in the process of shipping them all out today or tomorrow. I said I just wanted to confirm because some people are getting calls that their boxes are being shipped and he said 90% of the people have NOT received calls.

I called about a half hour ago and was told to call back tomorrow. The only information I was asked for to get on the list was my name and phone number. I was told Saturday that I'd get a call on Monday. Seems like the runaround to me. Funny how hard I have to try to give someone my money! LOL

Oh... that's a little different then as I already gave my credit card info awhile back.

Did you call the other 2 Barclay Rex shops? They have boxes too and are doing their own shipping...

Yes they have, a box is running $250, but the guy at Barclay sold me a 5fer for $65.00

I should have them in by Friday...I will try to do my first review.

The guys there were very helpful and returned my call very quickly. Also, he said that there will be only 200 boxes produced and sold, so they will be moving quickly.

I couldnt agree more with Brooks review I picked up a box today and had to spark one up right away as soon as I got into the car. The peper hits hard at first and then settled down and all the sweetness came out. The only bad thing I can say about the cigar is the closed foot. The dam pieces when you light them seem to fall off and burned my sweater but that is the only complant. If you can swing a box do it they are only going to get better and there will be much talk about these in years to come.

The price is more than worth it the quiality of the one I smoked was great and i think will get so much better as they just hit NY in the last few days from California and from what I was reading Pete just got them so I am sure they are a bit stressed out with all the travel time.

I talked to Adam this morning and he took care of everything. He said I was 15th on the list and he didn't get an answer when he called the other day. So glad things worked out.

Seems like a pretty sweet deal for these shops that get limited releases from Pete Johnson. Of course I don’t profess to know much about the business of running a shop, but I would assume that it is not to norm to get X number of phone calls from all over the country to purchase 200 boxes of cigars from your shop in a few weeks(days?).

I understand someone like Holts or CI doing A LOT of online and phone biz…. But I had never heard of Gloucester Street Cigars, Barclay Rex or Centro(where I bought my box of “the Face”), before trying to acquire these sticks….. Don’t know the exact shop in Hawaii that had the T110’s….but was able to get in on a split with that as well…. These shops get a nice sales bump and then, depending on your experience with them, maybe a repeat customer.

I know that there has appeared to be some gouging on the Monster release stuff from a few shops, but it appears that the T110, Pork Tenderloin and Barclay Rex releases have gone smoothly????

Anyway, I think it is kind of neat for whatever reason. Develop a possible relationship with a shop(know this is not important with some, but depending on where you live, it may be VERY important), get a nice cigar to try, shops get a small cash influx....everyone wins.
