G-damn USPS!
Bought a couple Tat Faces from Bill86 this last week and lo and behold the postal service delivers them to someone in a town an hour from me. Not sure how thye f-ed this up since they are two totally different zip codes, but now I have to wait and see if they can find my package. Not very happy about this, especially since I was wanting to burn one on Halloween. Damn it!!!

Re: G-damn USPS!
Wow that sucks. Hopefully who ever has them doesn't light them up.
|
Re: G-damn USPS!
Man, I seem to have all the usps luck, I've never lost or had anything lost when I use them
That really sucks, I hope whoever got your smokes didn't take any |
Re: G-damn USPS!
My mailman did this to me when the Tat Noella Reservas came out and I bought a 5er from a fellow BOTL. Never did get my package. Good luck brotha!
|
Re: G-damn USPS!
If they don't show up, shoot me a PM with your addy, and I've got one with your name on it. And it will be there in time for Halloween.
Nothing pisses me off more than when my package gets lost. |
Re: G-damn USPS!
Thanks guys. I've never had this happen before either. Must have been a fluke. Thanks for the offer Drew. I'll keep this in mind.

Re: G-damn USPS!
Sorry to hear that Kevin. That blows.
on a side note........GO MIZZOU!!! :noon |
Re: G-damn USPS!
Kevin. That sucks Brother. In the middle of a missing check as we speak. Wait till holiday mail starts going out. That's when all hope is abandoned.

Re: G-damn USPS!
If I got them with someone elses name and addy on it I would bring it back to the PO and tell them they accidentally delivered it to the wrong house. When my package was mis-delivered my idiot of a mail carrier said he knows he delivered it in the neighborhood which really pisses me off because it means one of my neighbors is a real sc*mbag. He did offer to repay me for it but I refused and just told him next time to be sure my packages make it to me rather than a dishonest neighbor as the cigars were a limited release and could not be replaced. I hope your outcome turns out better than mine. I still get pissed when I think about it especially since the person who did get and keep them probably had no idea what they scored or worst yet may have cracked them apart to make a blunt out of.:td

Re: G-damn USPS!
Thanks John. The town they delivered them to is a town of about 100,000 people so God knows who got them. I am just pissed that Bill was generous enough to sell me some and some dumbass mail carrier screwed it up.

Re: G-damn USPS!
Wow, this too just happened to me today. I was waiting for my box of 'The face' from NHC and the freakin' fedex guy delivered them to a house around the block from mine. Same house number, different street. I checked the shipping status and it showed delivered, only I had not received them. Then out of nowhere I get a knock at my door and some lady is handing me the box and stating that it was sitting on her porch. Man did I get lucky. Can one file a complaint about such incidents? Has anyone ever filed one?
|
Re: G-damn USPS!
I am sure you can although who knows what it will do. I called my USPS today to b*tch about my mail carrier since he was nice enough to leave the box that Chingas sent out in the rain yesterday with no plastic covering it like UPS and Fed-Ex does. It literally poured all day yesterday and the dumb prick left the box in front of my door which has no overhang. Luckily the way Chingas wrapped the contents nothing got wet inside but the box was a soggy mess. Pissed me off as this guy is a royal screw up.

Sounds like mail fraud to me if you know where they wound up and they didnt give it to you. |
Re: G-damn USPS!
and people wonder why USPS is loosing market share to UPS and Fed-Ex
sorry it happened to you |

Re: G-damn USPS!
Not trying to defend the USPS because I have suffered from my share of screw-ups, but I have also experienced screw-ups from Fed Ex and UPS as well. It all depends on the delivery person. Some of them have common sense and some don't and if the delivery person does not have common sense then it does not matter what uniform they wear.
As one who sends a lot of packages I find that the USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail service cannot be beat. Neither UPS nor Fed Ex can come close to the USPS pricing -- especially for the 2-3 day delivery time. It's even worse when it comes to international delivery: pricing, customs forms and processing make UPS and Fed Ex prohibitive for me... For the OP: if the package was sent a priority Mail or Flat Rate you should be able to file a claim (can even do it online); you just need the DC. |
Re: G-damn USPS!
Just curious still you said you knew exactly where they went ..... so what did the recipient do with them?
|
Re: G-damn USPS!
Was it sent regular mail or priority? I think that you get insurance with Priority???? I've had an issue sending something to NY, USPS lost a birthday gift to my niece, that was hard to swallow.

Re: G-damn USPS!
I have had Post Canada lost a package of 300$ worth of cigars only to find out it had been sitting in the back warehouse of the postal delivery. I had checked the tracking information and it said out for delivery. Needless to say, that status never changed. Man did I ever have the girl working at the post office have it. She is so arrogant and slow. Last time I called up the post office to ask if my package had been received as the mailman had never brought me the package. She replies, "I can't help you, I'm with a client". Apparently I do not fall under the category of "client".

Re: G-damn USPS!
There are letter carriers in the asylum somewhere, but I still let fly on the USPS. In my little corner of the world,
you will never meet a lazier, less motivated, who gives a $**+ group of un-firable people in your life. They are actually worse than DMV. They suck and always will. Theives, living off of my money, one I know even calls in to radio shows, during BOTH of my drive times AND at my lunch time. I KNOW how long it takes to get on the air on the radio, and yet somewhere this ahole finds the time. DOn't get me started on the way they slow walk all day and drive their overtime wages. I understand pacing oneself, but they are out well after dark delivering mail. EVERY DAY. (drops mic from chest level) I'm OUT. |
Re: G-damn USPS!
Hey Brad, tell us how you really feel, lol. Don't worry brother I feel your pain. Thank god for the people here.

ever sent has arrived as expected. As for the letter carriers here in town, like I said.... The one I have takes til Thursday to deliver the "junk mail" better known as the Piggly Wiggly, Kroger and Schnuck's circulars that come out on Tuesday. By the time I know what's onsale, it's all gone, lol. But I complained through the electronic 'ratting out' software. They make you go around the world to get TO IT, but I navigated it. Complained twice. Said they would repsond promptly to it, but apparently my letter carrier is also in charge of feedback, cause no one ever replied and I still get my circulars late. But what she didn't know is I know the Piggly Wiggly top man in town, who ironically is named Rick James, and I told him about his circulars he paid good money for coming late, and more often than not, not at all....well, that took care of THAT. |
