So, if I may, are you, like, suggesting, that maybe, I should ask them to remove the cello before shipping them? Is this like unbanding?

I wrap mine with duct tape and find it holds the moisture in really well. :bh

I typically take the cello off before I smoke them, seems to help when nose smoking

Cello always messes up the burn and they taste weird if I leave it on.

Okay, getting serious...if there's no mold issues (as was the case recently with a box of aged CCs that sported white mold when they arrived) I tend to cut the excess cello off so the foot is exposed.
