Sorry Tom, I should have stated that Bonnaroo and Coachella are music festivals. The gf is talking about it for next year and it sounds like fun. Though being purified in the waters of Lake Minnetonka sounds :tu

I did a security detail at the Coachella festival earlier this year. It was pretty cool because of the diversity of the music for the entire 4 days.

Soundgarden is playing Lolapalooza in Chicago next month. I think I will just wait until they return to Chicago and play a club date, I don't feel like fighting 200,000 people. Bummer because Cypress Hill is playing the same night as well.

Lolapalooza is the first (and I believe only) date so far, but rumor is they will tour after that...and I believe it is all the original line-up, Jared.

Every time I see pictures from one of those festivals, I think, "Man, it might be cool to hear some of those bands, but is there any way I could do it without being pressed up against tens of thousands of dirty hippies?"

My friends have been to Bonaroo several times. Good festival.

I went to the first 3 Bonnaroo's. Haven't been in many moons. Take the amount of water you plan on bringing and quadruple it. Bring something to make shade at camp. Wear good shoes (you will walk miles). Bring baby powder (I got chapped in some very unusual places). There's always some unscheduled music going on late night in the area that has the 3 tent stages. Beware the cute chicks with fairy wings, they will cover you in glitter.
