Just One Cigar
If you could only smoke one cigar for the rest of your life, what would you choose and why?
I think for me, I'd have to say the 601 Black, I love everything about this cigar and could smoke it morning, noon or night. |
Re: Just One Cigar
T110.
'nuff said, IMHO. |
Re: Just One Cigar
Cohiba Esplendido with five or more years in the humi.
|
Re: Just One Cigar
Cohiba Siglo II.

cohiba siglo VIs; beautiful cigar.

Re: Just One Cigar
I'm glad someone else thinks the 601 black labels are as tasty as I do!
but as far as picking one cigar for all time? jeez... I really can't think of one. I mean, I love a good steak, but it would get old pretty quick if that's the only thing I had to eat for every meal. :( |

I would choose the Gurkha black dragon because it would make me quit smokin.

Re: Just One Cigar
Davidoff Château Latour or Château Mouton Rothschild
if you gotta be limited, be limited in a big way :tu |
Re: Just One Cigar
Illusione HL
Can't stop buying them. |

swisher sweet!

Re: Just One Cigar
I know it's a rather silly question in reality. Truth is, what I was smoking last year at this time isn't what I'm smoking now and the same will likely be true this time next year. But a fun question nonetheless. Plus I'm discovering some new cigars this way.

Re: Just One Cigar
This changes all the time for me, but right now I'm really liking the AJF Diesel. I could stay with these a long time.

Liga Privada No. 9
Probably not a big surprise considering my avatar... |

I smoked a MC #4 the other night and I couldn't believe they used to be my go-to cigar. Don't get me wrong, it was great. but sooo rich, like a chocolate covered ice cream sunday. good for an occasional treat, but I would get absolutely sick of them within a week if I tried to smoke them daily now. |
Re: Just One Cigar
This thread popped up a month or so ago and my answer is still the same...

Re: Just One Cigar
I have to agree with others in this thread that it doesnt matter how good a certain cigar is, I would get bored with it relatively quickly

Re: Just One Cigar
Sorry, I don't see the point?
I smoke a variety of cigars, for different occasions/foods/drinks/moods lead to different tastes. And what I like today, I may not like 5 years from now. I don't even have only one favorite. |
Re: Just One Cigar
So are you guys saying that you don't believe in hypothetical questions?
|
Re: Just One Cigar
The Original Master Blend!
Because I think it's a damn good cigar! |
Re: Just One Cigar
Davidoff Château D'Yquem. Not that I've ever had one. But since we're speaking hypothetically here....
Realistically, though, it might have to be a well-aged Partagas 8-9-8. |

Re: Just One Cigar
Hmmmmm, not sure what I would do here. I guess I might go with a cigar that I KNOW I like every time, like a AF Hemingway Classic. Or, maybe a WOAM. Or a Tatuaje Unicos.
Or, perhaps I would go with a stick that, when in a new humidor at a B&M, I reach for because I enjoy them so much, like a VSG. Or, maybe that stick that I reach for because I can't get it just everywhere, like a Davidoff Millineum Blend . . . Can't do it. Can't choose just one. |

Padron 26 #9 :tu

Re: Just One Cigar
Davidoff 3000 because it's the best cigar I've had to date. I curse landhoney (Seth) on a regular basis for gifting it to me. :D

Re: Just One Cigar
My favorite changes all the time; right now I am liking the AF Hemingways and Padrons. If I had to pick one it would be the Padron Family Reserve 45th Maduro.

Re: Just One Cigar
1492, Habanos 1994 or Partagas 150 Nro.109.
Go big or go home.:ss |
Re: Just One Cigar
Boli PC for me
|
Re: Just One Cigar
Habanos 1994
|
Re: Just One Cigar
Punch DC
|
Re: Just One Cigar
AF Hemingway Signature. If it's the only one ever again, I've got to go with the one I've found to be most consistent.

Re: Just One Cigar
In this perfect hypothetical world, I would have to choose Padron Anniversary 1964 Maduro Torpedo. It's a nice smooth smoke with a lot of flavor for me.
But, I've recently been introduced to CC's for the first time in my life (Thanks S.H.I.T. heads). They're a different animal entirely! So, if you were to ask me this question again in a month or two, I might have a different answer. |
Re: Just One Cigar
Party Shorts, with about a year and a half/two years' age. (I.e. out of the sick period and back to normal).
Not only do I not get tired of them, when I finish one I have to fight myself not to start up another! :D |
Re: Just One Cigar
Padron 44th
|
Re: Just One Cigar
I'd go with AF Hemi Signature maduro.
Very consistent and tasty cigar. A close second is PAM and, third either Ashton VSG or San Cristobal. subject to change, of course. Chemyst :cool2: |

BBF...but I'd have to have enough of them that they could be aged in rotation so I'm never without one that doesn't have a least a year or more on it...

Re: Just One Cigar
said the same thing a million times before, and it ain't sexy or expensive or impossible to find:
Rocky Patel Sungrown PC - usually smokes these in the factory select bundles, and to me, its what I think of when I want a flat out F*cking CIGAR...this blend tastes like what a cigar should taste like IMO, and the construction/draw has been perfect on every one. |
Re: Just One Cigar
LCG #4 or maybe a Boli CE
|
Re: Just One Cigar
psd4 when it is on
|
Re: Just One Cigar
Some great cigars being proclaimed here (and some that are new to me).
|
Re: Just One Cigar
Partagas Series D #4
