Favorite size
Hey guys,
Just curious what the most popular size is with my BOTL... I used to buy almost all Churchill size sticks but have found out lately that I am really leaning towards the Robustos for the size of choice. Might be due to the fact that I can't seem to find the time to really enjoy a Churchill anymore. The last one I had, I rushed through it (on an empty stomach even) and came to realize that you CAN NOT rush a Cohiba Esplendido! My favorite Robustos so far have been the Cohiba, Brickhouse (really liked this new stick), H. Upmann Chairman's Reserve. What say you all! Cheers Mark |
Re: Favorite size
Robusto.

Re: Favorite size
I'm a robusto, toro kind of guy. Only smoke churchills going to and from college.

Re: Favorite size
Lancero

Re: Favorite size
Robustos and toros, mostly. I buy a lot of smokes on cbid, so I'm fine with most vitolas except the real small RGs.

Re: Favorite size
Corona gordas with lanceros followed closely behind.
|
Re: Favorite size
Coronas and petit coronas
|
Re: Favorite size
Churchills if I have the time. I like torbedos/belicosos as well though. Actually if its a good smoke I don't care what it is!
|
Re: Favorite size
Torps/Beli size seem to be my favorite size with Toros following behind closely.
|
Re: Favorite size
lanceros and torps(#2ish)

Re: Favorite size

Toro

Re: Favorite size
lancero, mareva, corona, petite corona, dalia, corona gorda, lonsdale......pretty much anything 50 rg and under.
|
Re: Favorite size
kind of in order
Lancero, Belicoso, Robusto, PC, Toro, Torp. I do enjoy the smaller ring gauges because of the added flavor of the wrapper |
Re: Favorite size
Robusto or Petit Corona.... Ring Gauge around 40-42 nothing above 50
|
Re: Favorite size
robusto, toro, belicoso, lancero, petite corona, corona, toro grande, churchill, pyramide, torpedo, lonsdale, ummm... miss any?
If I must say though, I do really enjoy box-pressed over round cigars. |

Lanceros, PC, Corona, Robusto, and Toro!!!
When it comes to shape... I love perfectos!!! :tu |
Re: Favorite size
Corona, PC, lancero...unless I'm on the golf course, then the bigger the better. :)
|
Re: Favorite size
Robustos all the way. I have enjoyed some Toros as well but anything bigger than that is too long a smoke for me. 5.5" X 52 is about ideal for me.
|
Re: Favorite size
Robusto and Rothschild :D
|
Re: Favorite size
Corona, Lonsdale, and Belicoso vitolas are usually my top picks.

At a time, I almost exclusively smoked robustos and toros. Now I just try to find whatever size I like in the particular blend. I wish all cigars were box pressed, too. Dunno why. I think it's cause they're easier to hang on to with my teeth. More comfortable. Little ones, like 49 ring and down, it doesn't really matter. I don't even know if there's a box press in that small of a ring? |
Re: Favorite size
NC's - Robusto is what I enjoy
CC's - Corona or smaller. Love the small RG CC's |

CC's got me to appreciate the smaller ring cigars. Before that I used to only buy 48 and up, since these were the most popular at the time and the majority of what the B&Ms carried. Lately though, I've been reaching for something a little bigger, like a corona gorda or pyramind. I only smoke on weekends now and usually I want a cigar that will burn for at least 1.5 hrs+ My next CC box purchase will probably be something closer to 44-46. I still don't ever go over 50. (although I did manage to find an Opus shark this year :D) |

Re: Favorite size
I go thru phases. Torpedos, Robustos, Belicosos, CGs. Right now I have to say it's PCs. I think the next stop is going to be something long and skinny.
|
Re: Favorite size
Definitely traditional Marevas
|
Re: Favorite size
Corona and Petite Coronas are what I probably smoke the most. Followed by robustos. I also really like the petite perfectos like AF Short Stories.
On the golf course or working in the yard I'll chomp on a Churchill. |
Re: Favorite size
Robustos for me. Usually 50+ RG.
|
Re: Favorite size
The bigger the better I always say
I always try to have a few of these aging. They are a staple in my humidor. http://www.bestcigarprices.com/cigar...r/305-7426.htm :r:D |

Re: Favorite size
I like corona gordas. Most of the time I smoke toros most of the time since everyone doesn't make my perferred size.
|
Re: Favorite size
I pretty much always go for something under 44 RG, Lancero's/PLs/Coronas. Robusto's are my 2nd choice since lots of NCs don't have smaller RG sizes anymore.
|
Re: Favorite size
Toro is my favorite followed by coronas . I smoke all sizes depending on time alotment . I generally have a hard time with the long skinny vitolas , it's a patience thing and if the draw is a bit tight I just put it back now . Ruined to many trying to make them smoke . :2

Re: Favorite size

Re: Favorite size
Big ones when I have time, and small ones when I don't!
|
Re: Favorite size
I have been all over the place on this one at one time or another.
Recently, seems back to Robusto. |
