East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
Tell me what you're smoking at your Snowbound Party.
I'll be working, but plan on an Oliva V lancero, a Short Story, and something else(undecided at the moment). Taking my sleeping bag, air mattress, extra food, and a clean shirt. Maybe a toothbrush, if I remember it. Gotta help Santa get stuff out to all the good kids for next Friday. Think of all of the overtime! Chemyst :cool2: |
Re: East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
I live in the Midwest, so I guess I can't play. :(

Re: East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
We're too far west for the blizzard...they're only calling for 6-9 inches of snow...but I will smoke something I have never tried before....now I just have to figure out which stogie to try!

Re: East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
I'm a puss, it's too cold for me to go out and smoke. The 8 gallons of milk and 6 dozen eggs I bought yesterday should last till spring thaw,

Not sure what I'll smoke, but we are getting hammered here. We had over a foot after 9 hours of snow and it ain't stopping anytime soon.

Re: East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
I'll help you guys out.
Tell me what you want me to smoke for you from my patio, in shorts, t-shirt and sandals. Will never forget 2/96. Thirty two inches of snow in the NYC area that shut it down for three days. That was the last one I would ever see there. |
Re: East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
10"-16" inches expected in Pawtucket :wo Smokes on the list for the next 24 hours or so...
Tat Black Tubo Padron 1926 Torp Maduro w/4 years on it, or...an 80th Maduro Illusione ECCJ Possible adders would be a WOAM, T110, Noella/Regio's Reserva, PSD4...not really sure. But I'm looking forward to breaking out the snowshoes!!! |
Re: East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
Sitting in traffic headed back to NY and its an F-in nightmare. Been sitting in the same spot for an hour and been on the road now 6 hours and only made it 150 miles into the trip. To boot no smoking since we're in the wifes truck. If I didn't have appointments Mon and Tues I would have turned around and headed back home to try again during the week.

Here's a few pics after 10 hours and it's still coming down. It's not supposed to stop until tomorrow morning.

Re: East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
I had a Opus Love Story and an Anejo #50 last night in anticipation of the impending storm . I've got to head in to work shortly unless I get a cancellation call . :tf

Re: East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
Had a WoAM last night when the snow started. Think I might burn down a Party Salomon here shortly followed by who knows what.......looks like I'm gonna have plenty of time on my hands based on how it's still coming down.

I'm cruising now. Roads are perfectly clear and have been and I have gone 4 miles in 2.5 hours here on I81 in Virginia. Yes, you read that right. I am ready to kill myself.

Re: East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
Looks like a La Riqueza Panatela (designated as #1 by La Riqueza). Not supposed to start snowing here until later and they're calling for around 10 inches now...totals keep creeping up...will be a nice day for blowing snow and smoking cigars tomorrow!

Re: East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
Ended up smoking a Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro Robusto, it rocked. We had 22" as of 4PM and it's still snowing. LOL Here's some bird pics I took today. The feeder has been much busier than the malls today I bet.

Re: East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
Ended up shoveling a path thru 22" of the white stuff so the dogs could get off the deck, then had a Camacho 1962. I'll worry about getting the tractor and plow out tomorrow!

Re: East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
Gave my Carlos Torano Exodus to a co-working who never had one so need to go with my backup Oliva V Lancero on the ride home at 6am.

Re: East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
Too cold to smoke outside tonight. Hunkered down for the evening. Get home safe all if you are on the road tonight. :ss
|
Re: East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
Snow? Where...when I look outside, I see dry pavement and oddly my neighbor's convertible parked with its top down...
|
Re: East Coast Blizzard Smoke?
I'm hangin' out in wonderfully-above-freezing Colorado. You poor Right Coast suckers...no, actually I love huge snow. The more the better.
