12 Beers Of Christmas
 

So, a local pub by me called Durty Nellies is having their 12 Beers of Christmas. They have a punch card, once you get your 12 punches you get a souvenir t-shirt and pint glass.

Last night I started with Delirium Noel, Great Lakes Christmas Ale and Three Floyds Alpha Klaus. Needless to say I was a little buzzed.

3 down 9 more to go. Thinking that Sunday I will be able to get a couple more punched. :tu

I had one by me that you needed to try 150 beers to get a shirt and trophy. One of the most delicious/difficult challenges I've ever been in.

The Delirium is nice as well as most things 3 Floyds as well. Nice selection for a bar.

I've had/like the Delirium, haven't tried the other two. What are the other 9 on the list?

The Delirium Noel is 10% alcohol, the Great Lakes is 7.5%, and the Alpha Klaus is also 7.5%. A "normal" beer is about 5.5% alcohol, so if you add it up, you had close to 5 "normal" beers worth of alcohol consumption.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. :ss

Well, last night I was able to drink 3 more beers. I had the Avery Christmas Jubilation, Dieu du Ciel! Solstice d'Hiver (Barleywine) and the Goose Island Christmas Ale.

They are getting in a bunch more beer this week. Everything we wanted to try them seemed to be out of.

I am half way there!! :banger

This post got me going. I went down to the International Beer Garden last night. Had a 2 Delerium Noel, Delerium Tremors, 2 Bellhaven Sotch Ale, and Lindemans Rasberry Ale. It was a good night.

It was great. The IBG didn't have a great Christmas selection but the bellhaven was awesome!

Last night was a good night. I was able to check off another beer. I had the Rouge Yellow Snow which is an India Pale Ale. Only three to go!! :banger

Mission Complete. Saturday my friend Adam and I finished the 12 Beers of Christmas. I ended up with the Port Brewing Santa's Little Helper, Avery Old Jubilation and Schloss Eggenberg Samichlaus.
