CAO Sopranos
Anyone tried this cigar and is it any good?
|
Re: CAO Sopranos
I love them
|
Re: CAO Sopranos
CAO's best cigar imo
|
Re: CAO Sopranos
I'm not a fan, but then again I've only tried one. It was very musty and earthy, much like a Gurkha.
|
Re: CAO Sopranos
there's a place right next to where i work that got a boxes 'o them and im debating if ill try 'em or not

These are legit!
|
Re: CAO Sopranos
They rock for the first 1/2 inch and then they turn into plain ole boring CAO.

Re: CAO Sopranos
I got some resting now from this pretty good deal to try some: CAO The Sopranos Edition Boss + 5-Pack Offer
$30.00 http://www.cigarsinternational.com/p...sp?item=CS-PT3 |
Re: CAO Sopranos
well i tried 2 and liked them and from what i heard you either LOVE Gurkhas or you do not there is no inbetween
|
Re: CAO Sopranos
One of my favorite CAO's next to the Brazilia.
|

Re: CAO Sopranos
They are a good smoke - a little inconsistent though. When they are really on they are really good and when they are a little off they are still a pretty good stick. Given the price I wish they were more consistent though.
|
Re: CAO Sopranos
i'll keep that in mind if i ever get to see a place where they sell em in singles

Re: CAO Sopranos
CAO makes some good sticks, just maybe not as good as their marketing departments.
The Sopranos are pretty good. If you are looking to give them a try, you might want to look for the sampler CAO released with each of the vitolas. I found some at JR a while ago at a pretty good price. I'm guessing they were looking to move the last of the inventory. |
Re: CAO Sopranos
no JR here sorry
:( |
Re: CAO Sopranos
Ahhh, just noticed the location. I don't suppose that is Quebec, North Carolina . . . nope. Probaly not.
Good luck in your search. I would add that the comparison to Gurhka is pretty solid. Stronger, earthy smoke. Good flavor, IMHO. |
Re: CAO Sopranos
I used to like them a lot when I was smoking NC.
|
Re: CAO Sopranos
I've been wanting to try them myself. Heard lot's of good things. I think the CI +5 deal is good but I've seen a box of them on cigarmonster for a sweet price the other day. It was still out of my box range though.

Re: CAO Sopranos

|
Re: CAO Sopranos
I enjoyed them, but the price tag for what they are I didn't agree with.

Re: CAO Sopranos

|
Re: CAO Sopranos
i cannot sorry ;)
|
Re: CAO Sopranos
cao is the worst...sorry...then gurkha!
|
Re: CAO Sopranos
Sopranos are one of the better CAOs that I've tried.
I keep Brazilias in stock, but recently went for the CI deal pointed out by captain53. Most CAOs are bland, IMHO. But there are so many CAO blends that you may find one or two of interest. AFA Gurkhas, I keep Ancient Warriors in stock, and don't mind the Royal Brigade perfecto and Nepalese Warriors. Gurkha is another brand with too many blends. Chemyst  |
