Casa Fuente pic's

If any of the inmates here have any Casa Fuente photo's from Caesars in Las Vegas you can post them here . I've been searching for pics and can't find any other then the standard shots from the Caesars web site . I'm heading out to Vegas next week and my wife is asking questions about the place like . Can we eat there ? What's near by ? As fate would have it , the night of the $5.00 drinks(Thursday) , we'll be at a show . Planning on a good bit of pool time because of the heat . Oh yeah and it's our first time staying in Las Vegas . I would love to herf but I'm only there for 3 nights and the trip is my wifes birthday present . Gonna do a little exploring around town and a good bit of drinking too . Thanks in advance for any help . :ss

The Forum Shops are about the size of the average mall. There are plenty of places to eat. The closest would be Planet Hollywood if I remember correctly. There is no food at Casa but drinks galore. I don't have any pics on the computer, but, when I get home I'll try and dig some up for you. The fastest way to get there is from the entrance to the Forum Shops closest to the Mirage.

If I remember right I snapped a few when I was there a few months ago. I'll have to pull them off my portable hard drive and post them tomorrow.

Re: Casa Fuente pic's

If you ask, they do have chips and peanuts, but not real food. I think you can bring food in though.

I would try the caipirinha - probably the best one I have ever had.

I know my wife always gives me funny looks when we go there though - let's just say the cocktail waitresses are almost in their underwear.

I would definitely bring your own cigars as well, the prices are about 2-3X MSRP.

Hopefully this link works:

http://www.simon.com/mall/directory.aspx?ID=224

That should be a directory. There are several restaurants in the mall itself.

Restaurants (order via wait staff)
BOA Steakhouse
Cheesecake Factory, The
Chinois
Il Mulino New York
Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab
La Salsa
Planet Hollywood
Spago
Sushi Roku
The Palm Las Vegas
Trevi Italian Restaurant

La Salsa has some great margaritas.

The mall is actually pretty large, it is a good long walk from Casa Fuente to the Cheesecake Factory for example. Casa Fuente is pretty close to the strip entrance. If you go all the way up to the top of the front section (spiral escalators) there is another escalator that will take you into the main portion of the mall right next to Casa Fuente. The way the mall is setup is kind of frusterating, you have to walk around the circle to access the main/older portion of the mall. If you have never been there this probably won't be an issue though.

Also, there are plenty of restaurants in Caesars Palace and right next door at the Mirage.

What hotel are you staying at?

In terms of restaurants, I would check out Nine Fine Irish Pub at NY NY (really good hamburger). If you are looking for something a little fancier, Bouchon at the Venetian is good (it is in the back near the hotel check-in) and the Bellagio buffet is amazing!

There is a Planet Hollywood nearby where you can eat in the restaurant or in the bar area.

I always try to hit up Casa Fuente when I'm in Vegas. Great place to have drinks while enjoying a cigar or two. They have some HTFs there, but be prepared for the steep prices.

I think Fremont is great. Cool old casinos, and that killer light show every night. It sucks if you are in a group and have to head back and forth to the strip all the time.

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay on the strip next time, check out the Imperial Palace. It is not the nicest place on the strip, but its right in the middle, across from Caesers and the Mirage. It is not a dump by any means, its just old. It is way cheaper than its neighbors.

Here's my Casa Fuente stash . I smoked a Casa Fuente Churchill while drinking a Mojito and a couple Fat Tires . Excellent cigar and great smoking spot to people watch . Steve Garvey(Dodgers) was at the sports collectibles store across the way signing autographs , about 3 the entire time I was there(2-1/2 hrs) . They had a video camera set on him playing on a tv in the store window , I thought it kinda sucked for him as not to many people seemed to know who he was . . I had a great time away with my wife for a few days . Thanks again for the tips on Vegas .

Man, I can't wait to hit up LV. A few friends moved up there. Casa Fuente is most definitely on my "to do" list.

What ?!?!?!? Closing the store down? Man, I really loved sitting outside the shop smoking a cigar and drinking some Mojitos. Time for a emergency trip to Vegas.

Last time I was at Casa Fuente it was Pete Rose across the way. Even he didn't attract a huge number of people. Maybe it's an advertising thing or just so many other things to do in Vegas people don't bother.

Well I guess it's just another excuse to go to Vegas :D

Last time there, my wife was hesitant about even going in. As soon as we step into the bar area, she fell in love. She had a harder time leaving than I did, lol.

I'm sitting in Casa Fuente right now and the guys on duty have stated that the reports of their demise are greatly exaggerated. It's Friday at 1:40 pm and the place is packed. Business seems to be good.

Are the house sticks really worth the price?
