Favorite small cigar?
I'm a big fan of the small cigar, 4 x30ish is the perfect size for before dinner or grilling a couple quick burgers for dinner.
For slightly bigger cigars I really like the Oliva Special G and the Arturo Feunte Short Story (the short story is tough on the wallet though) but sometimes I want something even quicker. I'm loving the Arturo Fuente Cubanitos, especially the maduro. I'm also liking the H. Upmann Demitasse and (laugh if you will) Macanudo Ascots, which were what really got me into cigars. I'm looking to grab a couple more tins - anyone else have a small cigar they are really digging? |
Re: Favorite small cigar?
I agree with you on the Special Gs and Short Stories....but that is as small as I have ever gone!

Others I like include:
JR Ultimate Habanitos R&J Romeos Hoyo Sabrosas and for dry-cured you can just stick in your shirt pocket for whenever, Villiger Exports ain't bad at all. |

Short Stories and JR Habanitos. I tell you the trouble I went through to find a box of short stories recently was amazing. Why do you all have to like them so much.

Re: Favorite small cigar?
Love the Short Stories and Special G's. How about the Illusione 68? Another one that can put a hurt on the wallet, but is definitely tasty.
Not quite as small, but a good value is the Punch Champion. In the PC size, I'm a big fan of the Tatuaje Noella. |

Re: Favorite small cigar?
Some Pepin smokes come to mind for me.
The Black Label Perlas, the Blue Label Demi Tasse. You also have the Petite Cabaiguan and Tatuaje, which taste great, but they're pretty pricey for small smokes. |
Re: Favorite small cigar?
Hardly a day goes by when I don't smoke at least a 5 pack of Montecristo Puritos.
I love those things and always have a few in my front pocket at work. The Partagas Chicos are good, but not as as the Puritos for my tastes. |

~$3 per seems a little steep blackcat cigars has a nice deal on the black label perlas, still about $3 a stick when you factor in shipping and that they're only 20 to a box |

I just try not to think about the size. It isn't the size of the stick it's the taste in my mouth. |

Re: Favorite small cigar?
The Sancho Panza Double Maduro Quixote is a tasty little cigar, though it might be a little larger than what you're looking for. I like that H Upmann Demi Tasse too ... the SP is bigger but definitely good.

I don't see it the same as a tinned cigar either, but it's so good I had to mention it and agree. |

If you can still get them try to find a CFO (cigar factory outlet) "Not a short story", it is pretty darn close for significantly less coin. |
Re: Favorite small cigar?
I think my favorites would be the Tatuaje Petit, and the DPG Black or Blue petit corona
|
Re: Favorite small cigar?
QdO corona.

Re: Favorite small cigar?
One I like for a cheap tasty smoke is Punch London Club Maduro.

Re: Favorite small cigar?
old MC Joyitas :)

Re: Favorite small cigar?
Party short! hands down. (I'm about to light up a Trini Reyes though so that may change, we'll see)
but if I were to pick a NC I would say the Honduran ERdM tinos. It's a strange answer I know, but I got a box of these not too long ago with a '02 box date and they were some of the best NCs I've ever had. |
Re: Favorite small cigar?

Re: Favorite small cigar?
Ramon Allones Small Club Corona (RASCC)
Ive seen them for prices that, when averaged per stick, are close to the tin of Oliva Gs I purchased last year. One of my favorite cigars too |
Re: Favorite small cigar?
I'm not a big fan of small tinned cigars but if you like the CAO Italia line, the piccolos are surprisingly good.
BTW, JR has a big sale on tinned cigars going on - think it's a brick of 50 for $30. Posted via Mobile Device |

Cabaiguan Petite. Look no further.

I've tried both of these and they weren't bad. I don't usually buy many tinned cigars, but there is a good price on these: 50 of each for $60.... They're each about 4x30 |

NC-4x30-CAO Extreme Tin, Camacho Machito's Tin, LFD Tin

PL Panatella
PL Montecarlos Party Short |
Re: Favorite small cigar?
I would have to go with the Tat Junior in the size range you described.
|
Re: Favorite small cigar?
Two other to consider:
Montecristo Afrique Safari Punch Grand Puro Laguna As for the JR Ultimate Habanitos, I think they only come EMS, so you don't have to decide btw nats and maddies. But since EMS is sorta btw nat and maddie anyway, you have in a certain way chosen both. In any case, I likes 'em. |

I love maduros - so my best little stick: 5 Vegas A Anomaly I got a box of 20 for $30 on CB a couple of months ago. They're cheap, so it's all right if you don't finish the entire thing. And they're tasty!! |
Re: Favorite small cigar?
Oliva Special G is my favorite cigar regardless of size or price. They are real nice!
|
Re: Favorite small cigar?
Short Story for me, the only other cigar I smoke is the Cuchillios by Illusione.
