Man Cave Update

I have been keeping my photos of my man cave project in my personal album but I don't think the album pictures look all that great in there.

I have been getting weekend help from my local BOTLs.
Thanks Ken, Lee and Mark for your help! :tu

Here are some updated photos for everyone to see my progress.

Hal, it's looking very nice. Are you going to smoke in there and if so, what are you doing for ventilation?

Looking very good Hal. Once it is finished you will be pleased and able to really enjoy it, especially come Oct/Nov. here in MI.

The ventilation system is already in. (Sounded like an Apache hovering over the house when it was full throttle) We have been smoking in there now while working. :)

I cant wait to get that far. Relaxing in my room is far away..... Maybe within a few more months!

I have started collecting up my audio/video stuff though. I may end up sleeping in this room once it's finished. :r

You bet it is :). I've been smoking while working.

A lot more left to do than it looks. The other side of the room has a poured concrete wall that is going to be transformed into a fireplace with a mantle of some sort. It will be the last thing to figure out.

I can just sit on a paint bucket and listen to music. :tu

That 1 1/4 sheet rock really quieted down that big motor. Do you have problems with motor noise at all?

Looking good though.

Finished trimming out the wine rack today. Now it's time for some paint on all of the trim. I think that will happen on Saturday if all goes well.

I stained the fireplace a little darker and then assembled it tonight. Now I have to figure out how to make it look nice.

Thinking about building a bookcase around it or something.... Any ideas?

This is what I'm working with-

Looks good. I would put up a wood recessed paneled wall that matches the fireplace. Then have a couple potted green plants to help with the oxygenation in the room.
