Back from my hiatus with our new son!!
 

Things finally calming down now that I'm back home and our son was born. Nights are a little sleepless but totally worth it! Glad to be back among the living with you guys :)

Congratulations! I have 2 boys, a five year old and a two year old. It's amazing how something so small can have such a huge effect on you. I didn't realize it until I held my first born for the first time.

I'm the only one of my small circle of friends that has kids. One of them asked me what it's like to be a father. The only way I found to describe it is: it's like walking around for the rest of your life with your heart outside of your body.

And get used to the sleepless nights. I can't remember the last time I wasn't tired. But I wouldn't trade it for anything :tu

Thanks guys! It really is something special. He's such a cool little guy, can't wait until he can crack smiles at me or keep that wobbly head up. For now its just so cool to see him focus his eyes in on me while I'm holding him...such a surreal experience! In the meantime I'm going to enjoy a nice cigar this weekend and maybe some Cigar City Hunahpu to celebrate :)
