Pre Warning Before Issac
 

Looks like the weather is all screwed up. Tropical storm Issac is still down around Florida...but here in Virginia, we gotta little pre-Issac rain this morning. 6 inches in the first hour. This intersection is a half mile from my house.

Dang Mac, that looks like it did here a month or so ago. If he comes near we will be more flooded than we were then. There are two bridges in our county that are washed out, and with the economy and budget shortfalls they don't know when they will be replaced.

Sh*t Mac, is that Jefferson? We had to hide out under the stairs for a tornado warning in Norfolk. The scariest sky is the one with low clouds to one side and blue sky to the other.

It's been dry in The South for a few years now too, but nobody needs all that. I know that when it rains, it pours, yet that's a little much.

Wow!

Been praying for everybody in Isaac's path. I was thinking that I meant anybody who might be affected, but didn't quite realize what a broad area that would be.

This was an all too familiar scene this morning. The water was up to my doors in the Tahoe. I watched a few poor wretches try to male it out in their new Buick, it didn't end well...

Just some wind and rain as of now. Broward county and Miami-Dade county have be downgraded to Tropical Storm warnings which is good, but we have tornado warnings up to 5pm.

The gulf coast will get it worse than me.

Here in Orlando, FL and it has been raining all day in and out. I figured it would be like this all day and night due to the storm bands. Not much of wind at this point. Hopefully it wont get too bad as I was planning a Cigar Safari in Tampa to look for some hard to find cigars.
