Re: New Traeger Grill
I'm jealous of everyone picking up these Traeger's. Thought I had one I was gonna get locally off craiglist but the guy never emailed me back after 3 separate attempts. Had to settle for the Weber Smokey Mountain 22.5" instead.

Re: New Traeger Grill
haha, Okay. Just to prove I have a camera and moderate computer skills
Here is the grill with the free front shelf http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x.../NewPit003.jpg And here is the cool cover for the grill http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x.../NewPit001.jpg The grilling area (418 sq in) is about 1/3 less than my charcoal grill, but I'm anxious to see how it cooks |

Re: New Traeger Grill
Ok first cookout, I cooked chicken (wings and breast) to make it simple.
It took twice as long as my charcoal grill because I was playing with the settings, but it did taste good and nothing was burnt. I cooked wings for my wife and breasts for my inlaws I didn't get the camera until we finished eating http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x...rstcook002.jpg I removed the breasts and cooked the wings on high foe a while, that's how my wife likes them. All in all, it cooked well, My cooking time maybe to long for awhile, until I get through playing with it |
Re: New Traeger Grill
Cooked again today, boneless beef ribs and pork chops. I'll probably have to cook everyday for 6 monthes to pay for it, :D
Anyway I like how you can set it to smoke and go do chores for a couple hours. Never having to worry about wood or charcoal running low is very nice. |

Re: New Traeger Grill
Great choice Tony.
I am also a Traeger fan. http://jenady.smugmug.com/Family/Hi-...5_X2kwF-XL.jpg So far I have burned around 1000 pounds of pellets. It has done 13 racks of ribs at one time. We love it. |
Re: New Traeger Grill
